Hi all,
I've written and composed this song.
The arrangements have been made with Band-in-a-Box and Suno AI (voices and solo guitar).

Hi Christian!
I like the rhythmic feel of the RTs you’ve chosen and it fits with what I see often - when the accompaniment is rhythmic, the vocals hold longer notes, or vice versa. I also like the chords chosen for the verses.
Good song!

Cool departure from your usual. Certainly a theme for our times. Really love that funky rhythm and that super smooth Suno vocal.

Chris, funk at its best. Super job blending Suno AI with BiaB. Great arrangement.
You picked the perfect RTs and the perfect AI voice for this song.
I really enjoyed this song.

Nice work on this song. Maybe this isn't the right place for my post, and if so, I will be happy to delete it or move it elsewhere. But as we are looking toward BIAB 2026, I think we must acknowledge that Suno (and perhaps other AI programs) have changed this segment (i.e. the realistic song rendering segment, for lack of a better term) more in 2025 than anything in the past 20 years. I don't think it can be business as usual for BIAB anymore.

I have not used Suno, and I know I need to invest some time to learn more about that. But I am wondering what this new AI direction does to or for PGMusic. Are there AI features that ought to be built into BIAB? Are there things that BIAB ought to do to better enable a workflow that includes Suno or other products?

Hi Pumps2,
Band-in-a-Box and Suno AI are two complementary programs.
For example, Suno AI can't reproduce a chords progression you give it!
I mainly use Suno AI for the excellent vocals that can perform the melodies I compose.

What is your workflow like? I went out and created a song to try it with the free account out last night. It was impressive, it created a decent song with very little input from me. I see where I can add my own lyrics. I don't see any way to download stems, such as the guitar solo. Is that part of the pro version, or did you use a stem separation program?

Can you upload a BIAB track and have Suno build on that?

Oh, and here's my song: https://app.box.com/s/ixdxrl77ygzuph4j0idbaz3komaymxkz

I think I said "Write an Afro-Cuban song with trombones about unsuccessful fishing."

It doesn't interest me to let Suno Ai make all the job.
I always write my lyrics and I always compose my melody and I always find the chords to go with.
That being said, the separated tracks in Suno AI are called the stems and you will find them (after create) clicking on the 3 points on the right of the screen.
