I have lived my life in Minnesota, where rain, ice, and snow are part of the territory. https://fredgrittner.bandcamp.com/track/november-rainNovember Rain End of November Sky caked in gray Thunder beats its drum Swaying bare tree Whispers to me Warning what’s to come Something in the air Guides me who knows where Instinct or a buried memory CHORUS: November Rain November Rain Water, ice and snow November Rain November Rain It’s half-past time to go Snowflakes swirl Rise and curl Ships on storm-tossed seas This wind-chilled skin Too pale too thin Won’t make it through the freeze Nothing can be said I sense what lies ahead Farewell to the ghosts of summertime CHORUS Feel it come falling Feel it come falling down Feel it come falling Feel it come falling down Southbound lightening Points out the path Time to soldier on Each round of good fortune Counts on warmth and light Up here it’s going or it’s gone Don’t look into my eyes Cruel truths and gentle lies The only words coming out of me CHORUS RealTracks in style: 1536:Bass, Electric, PopBelieve Ev16 065 RealTracks in style: 2542:Pedal Steel, Background ModernBalladAtmosphere Ev16 065 RealTracks in style: 1543:Synth Pad, PopBelieve Ev16 065 Loop in Song: Chillout/Chillout - lounge_85_fx_f_sharp_minor.wav RealTracks in song: 3904:Guitar, Baritone Electric, Rhythm CinematicMystery16ths Ev 085 RealDrums in song: NashvillePop16^4-a:SideStick, HiHat , b:Snare, Hihat

Great song musically, vocally and lyrically. Totally relate to the lyrics right now as it's very cold right now in the UK where I am and we keep getting massive showers!
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Fred, a day or two after your weather we get it here where I live in New York State so I can relate to this song. Super use of RT's. An outstanding vocal and lyrics. Great mix. Loved it.

Rain, ice and snow --know them well. The lyrics are so good with a dirge-like melody. Excellent vocal and the production is top-notch. Cool use of the string-like synth. If your weather turns a bit south after visiting Mario, we get it, too. Minnesota is know for the extreme --like keeping heating blankets on car engines just so they'll start in the morning. Still, it's a wonderful state of much beauty.

Nice track, Fred. Loved the economy of the melody/lyrics. I noticed that the loop you chose is designated as "F# minor"--just out of curiosity, is that the key the song is in? Everything was so well balance, and the vocal was solid. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was 72 yesterday here in NC.

Very moody piece, liked the pad and the wind sound effect. Good vocal, too. Very different from the Guns 'n Roses hit by the same name. Nice work here.

I wrote the first version of the song in the early 80s, before GnR's song came along. I wrote a song in the early 90s titled Inside Job. Four years later Don Henley released a song with the same title. Glad you can't copyright song titles.
