I wrote this song last week. It's about a person who knows he's (or she's) about to die....and is okay with it. Since I'm 80, I think about this stuff although I don't dwell on it at all. It's hard not to think of your mortality. But, the person in this song is okay with leaving it all behind. I added the solo and added some guitar, sang all vocals. Good vocals, guitar solo and fills, and a classic melody.
I had a chuckle at the line “I’m tired of getting stuck with needles” to which I’d reply “Don’t go getting injections NEEDLESsly”.
Good song and well considered reflections on aging.

Sol, a classic 1960's country song. Great vocal and a positive end of life story. Super backing tracks and solo. I can relate to those needle lines, brilliant work on the lyrics; I'll be 80 next year.
