I think the definitions may not be clear. No matter which package an audiophile user bought last year, they got FLAC files for the RealTracks that were new in 2025.
Some audiophile users last year decided to buy a slightly more expensive upgrade on an SSD that included FLAC files for all past and present RealTracks. I believe this was the equivalent of the 2026 offering for $199, and perhaps you mean the ‘typo’ was that it was a downloadable product this year in the choice that was pulled.
For anyone who did not buy the full collection of RealTracks last year on FLAC, they may well wish to do so this year, so I think that should still be offered.
Further, after the December 2024 release, PG Music successfully tested downloading all the RealTracks as FLAC files so we know this can be done as a viable option.
I hope this clears up what I’ve been asking about.

Hi Matt, Forgive me, I am a bit sleepy  Regarding this: For anyone who did not buy the full collection of RealTracks last year on FLAC, they may well wish to do so this year, so I think that should still be offered. They can - it is the Upgrade from 2024 Audiophile Edition. Or do you mean something else? Thanks, Catherine

Thanks, Catherine I may as well flag another oddity on the upgrades page ... the second line of says "Upgrade from 2025/2026", but presumably should say only "Upgrade from 2025". My understanding of the fifth row is that one will receive a physical drive containing everything in the 2026 audiophile edition. I'm puzzled, though, that that isn't just done as a discount to the Audiophile entry in row 2. As an Audiophile version user who used a PlusPAK last year, I have only the 2025 additional RealTracks as .flac, all the older RealTracks are still .wav files. I understand that if I buy the $199 upgrade I will get all of the RealTracks in .flac and can discard the .wav files, but if I buy the PlusPAK I will get only the new RealTracks as .flac and must retain my older .wav files.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.
