Hi Everyone, Here is a song I wrote a while ago http://www.box.net/shared/eju21g30smThe words are: Pathways Verse 1 I've been walking the pathways that came my way Sometimes I took the right road but not always I have to say What seems the right turns can have no entry signs So I travel straight on hoping I miss no deadlines Chorus I believe in justice, believe that we are free to choose I believe that we all want to win and not lose If there were a heaven we would not need to despair But the truth is not that and so we must take care Let's integrate - No need to wait Depend on others - So we become brothers We can unite - We all agree it's right Lets cleanse our land - Strike up the band Verse 2 But the journey can be hard climbing mountains on high Crossing wide open seas with waves that can terrify Sometimes I feel that I should have turned back Retraced my steps to get back on the right track Chorus Verse 3 It could have been different with dreams coming true But dreams are not real so we just have to make do You do what you can and hope to survive In this land where so much ugliness seems to thrive Chorus enjoy and comments much appreciated Jim

Very nice arrangement. I like the sound. Nice fretless choice.
Maybe being a little more familiar with it will help? A couple spots it sounds like you were a little unsure of the note on vocals.
I like what you've got going though.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Hi Jim, You certainly chose a difficult song to compose  Lots of different changes in there, but you managed to pull it off. Your lyrics are about life as it really is, I suppose it was your journey. Well done and thank you for posting your song. Keep 'em coming, enjoy yourself  Best regards Michee

Jim, this was fantastic! I loved the chord progression, the lyrics and your vocal was very good. The backing tracks are perfect.
