Not sure if you downloaded the extra files for the demos? It gave me a prompt during install I believe and asked if I wanted to download the extra demo files of the internet or play them online.

OK, tried the suggestions and no go.....no demos. I DO remember downloading the extra 2gb of files, but I can not find the folder in my downloads like the rest of the update.
Besides ASIO, I have also tried WAS & MME, the internal sound card, and every combo I can think of. If I create a track & select a style, and then Gen it plays fine. I found the Demos folder where all the .wma files are, and they play in VLC player, no problem.
I am lost....I think I might reinstall later tonight........

This is where my demo files are located I believe. D:\bb\Demos\RealTracks - Demos Perhaps you are looking in the wrong place. In the style picker make sure you are looking at the styles tab not the realtracks. Also below the filter string search you will see the dropdown selectors and notice the one on the end which says 2026. I have selected that button to search for demos of the new 2026 files.

Yup, I found those &the play fine in VLC. I tried another test with just MIDI styles and no go, got nothing out of the Demos, but place it in to a track and it will generate a MIDI performance.....
I just going to re-install and see what happens!

It will either play the local demos if you have them or use the online demos if not - you don't need to have the local demos installed. Regardless, I think the extra demo files download you noticed would be unrelated to this - MOST demos are installed locally by default. You mentioned VLC. Check if you are able to play the files in WMP also (outside of BiaB).
