Hi Experts!
When I create a song, I got a Midi-based Chord on beat one of every chord-change playing on the Soloist channel. I could just mute this track, but it´s annoying...
Any help would be appretiated!

Hi Michael. Welcome to the forums. It sounds like you might have generated a chord track on the Soloist track. That's just a guess, though, because there are a few other possibilities. The easiest way to solve the problem is simply erase the track and its MIDI data. To do this... 1) Select the Soloist track in either the Mixer of Track View. (#1) 2) Right-click on the Soloist track. 3) Select Track Actions. (#2) 3) Select Erase Track. Welcome to the forum, Michael. Are you using BIAB 2026? Also tell us what Build#. You can see that in Help, About.
Did you load a Style, and if so, which one? Or did you load an individual RealTrack onto the Soloist track, and if so, which one?
This will help us fellow users to duplicate your problem. Noel gave you instructions to correct it but I’m also curious how this occurred. As he said, there are several possibilities we can explore further.
One thing you can always do when BIAB doesn’t work as you know it should, is to do Options, Return to Factory Settings, Most. Reload BIAB and test. I don’t have to do this often, but sometimes it solves puzzles.

Maybe it is a setting in the preference "Output chords to Channel" that is ticked with output to the soloist track selected?

Shlind is correct. That’s one of the possibilities. If you are new to BIAB, it’s unlikely you changed that setting but it is possible.

That is an old bug. What version of band in the box did you say you have? Uncheck that box in output cords and you can stop that

First of all: Thank you for the warm welcome!!
This is by far the kindest audio forum I know! No RTFM and always keen to support each other. Very mature!
@ Noel: No, that doesn´t help. Anyway thanks for the hint!
@ Matt: I´m on BIAB 2026 (1213) and it occurs on every STYLE. I assume I ticked somethin wrong in the preferences. I worked with BIAB for sevral years, but only scratched the surface, but now I decided to dive a little bit deeper.
@ Shlind and Matt: Where can I find the "Output chords to Channel" tick box?

From memory, Options, Preferences, then look for MIDI Chords or Output Chords or MIDI Output. Something close to that.

Sorry, I have to clarify: what you are reporting is an old bug which was long ago fixed. Those midi chords were never intended to play on the Soloist track. In current versions we are able to use this feature as it is intended. And it is a great feature. Cheers Dan

Dan, what do you remember as being the bug? That Output Chords was set On by default? Or something to do with the Soloist track?
