Hi
The DAW Plugin does not work for me.
While generating the tracks of my song it crashes Cubase 14 pro.
In Reaper it works a little bit better, but reaper also crashes after a time.
There is nothing visible, but Cubase or Reaper is terminated by the DAW.
So it is not usable :-(

Could you please provide more extensive details.
Step 1: I have this configuration ...

Every detailed piece of information that you can provide will help them to identify and work to resolve. The more details, the better.

To be fair, the plugin has worked for a couple of people — mainly the programming team, it seems. But it's far from reliable: frequent crashes, out-of-sync tracks... and it's so hard to explain and demonstrate in video/audio — likely due to the huge variety of Windows hardware out there, with way too many parameters to handle — that most users have just given up.
That said, you can still use it to generate WAVs, but without the instructions — you lose the whole point. Might as well use the drag'n'drop station: time-wise, it's the same.
The only somewhat usable version (though still not perfect) remains 6.3.8 from late 2023 — and that's tough to find nowadays. Good luck!

I experienced similar behaviour of the DAW plug-in on my PC with Cubase 14 and 15. It closed without any error message while generating the tracks and crashed also Cubase.
I found a solution, that works on my system: I started the stand-alone version of the DAW plug-in and set the audio device type to "Windows Audio". This setting isn't available in the VST3 version of the plug-in, only in stand alone mode. I really don't know why, but now the plug-in works reliable on my system. Maybe you could try that also. Good luck!

Tried it. Same result regarding the Wav instructions, which were supposed to improve track generation speed. They’re still out of sync.
If it’s about generating real Wav files (in the Saved Tracks folder), then there’s no problem.
But in that case, what’s the point of using the Plugin?

I crash with cubase when generating,
the debug file indicates no conflict with drivers or other vst,
from indications the Plugin 8.0 has an internal memory management bug with Cubase 14.
We have to wait for the correction from Pg music.

in a box daw 8.0 plugin and cubase 14 .
I also add this useful information SPECIFICALLY
when it generates more than 6 harmonic events cubase 14 crashes,
if the events to be generated are less than 6, it generates positively.

7.0 no crash in cubase 14  8.0 CRASH in cubase 14.

What do you mean it's hard to find? Just zip the 8.0 driver, find Band in a Box from 2023, install it on a USB stick, download the update, and install it. Zip the 7.0, uninstall the 2023, and unzip the 7.0, and you'll have the old vst 3 plugin working. Which is what I did while I wait for the new vst driver. ps: copy it somewhere so you don't have to repeat the procedure every time if the new update doesn't work.
