I was the same way. Been using BIAB since the floppy disc days and never bothered to post and after a decade of using BIAB on an almost daily basis, was still listed as a novice. I started posting a while back and I DID notice that my ranking was advanced a little at a time. It was like getting a promotion at work without the pay raise.

Maybe I will mercifully change the subject. The forum software was changed in summer 2000. Many of us already had a veteran-equivalent status. Five years of posts and post counts were lost and we started over.
