Good Day. Passing along a conversation with PGMusic support indicating that underlining feature to indicate RealChart (Notation) no longer implemented. Apparently, that means I have switch to Notation View and click through all instruments. Not a deal breaker, but irksome.
Conversation with PG Music Support (via Chat)
(me) How do I tell which BiaB 2026 tracks have Notation?
The only way I can tell is to select each instrument in the Chords or Track View, and select Notation View.
After selecting Style and associated Demo Song based on choosing a RealTrack with Notation (using the Realtrack picker where Chart = "N"), all I see in both the Chords and Track views are colors with no underlining.
I have reviewed the RealTrack Settings, and all the relevant check boxes are checked

Okay, I will pass that feedback along to the developers, but for now yes the notation view would be the way to go.
Usually that displays on the radio buttons that were along the top but those aren't there in the 2026 version.

Thanks, Mike. That's handy to know.
If it helps, you can also use Piano Roll View to see this information. Realtracks with notation will have a MIDI file attached and this is visible in Piano Roll View.
If you open the Mixer, select Piano Roll View and then click on each track in the mixer, it's pretty quick to see which Realtrack has associated MIDI and thus some notation attached.

Thinking that working on Midi Bass in Piano Roll view docked with Guitar Notation view will be useful during composition efforts. Cheers!

When I first looked at the chart column I thought that N meant no. i think this could be very confusing to a new or in my case an old user. I would relabel the column to Notation and change the N to Y for yes. YMMV

Good point - we should add a 'RealCharts' indicator in the Track label area on the Mixer and Tracks window.

I did not know we lost the underlining. A bit disappointing. to learn. DrDan, The legacy track names next to the radio buttons had the notation underlining. No radio buttons, no notation underlining. Andrew mentioned adding an indicator in the track names in the mixer and tracks windows. +1. Great idea.
