Really great song Dave & Chris,
Sultry and moody as a sultry, moody thing. And the girls in the video are too distracting, lost my focus on several occasions....or perhaps that was your intention!!
But a great song for all the right reasons. Kind regards. Appreciate the listen and comments KW! I started here in April 2019, so this is new to me. BA has been working at a very high level for quite some time, so a best of seems a natural to me. How do you choose? That's gonna me a tough job. I liked this tune very much, I like that it was subtle regarding the subject matter. Playing excellent as always. Vocals were superb. Ten years, that's quite a legacy. Congratulations! Yes, choosing is very difficult. As Chris says these songs are our babies, hard to leave some of them out. Thanks for all the support, Bob!

Hey, man, what a tasty track! Perfect mix and production. Each section has the right focus and keeps the listener completely engaged. Bass, vocals, lead guitar, all share the stage in a cohesive and oh so professional way. Way to go!!

Slithery and cool. Ya'll CRUSHED this. Top shelf vocals and guitar work. Crisp, laid back backing band--love that BiaB bass. Super song performed superlatively. Fantastic work, Dave and Chris! Dave, you have done a masterful job with this arrangement! It definitely has a Santana vibe which is always a good thing! Your guitar fills and lead parts are as always, top shelf! I'm assuming you are using a Strat here and it sounds wonderful! Chris has such a beautiful voice that is the very definition of pro!!

We loved this song in 2018 and we love it now.
There’s no doubt that this should be on the “best of” album.
You both hit it out of the park.
We really dig that great rhumba beat.
Your guitar and her voice are such a great match.
That outro vamp is great.
And what a mix and mastering.
Everything “pops,” and is crystal clear.
Great soundstage on the Kalis.
Soul to the max.

I saw Noell's post, but couldn't find my comments on the song back then. It must have been very positive (to make an understatement), because it's a 'delicious' and lovely Blues. Some days ago, on YT I had given my review too. But I will do it again; Chris has a great voice and makes very good lyrics! Dave, as usual, is the master on the lead. That sound... wow.
And normally Marty is included as the one and only bass player you use in the band. But now I saw you used a real track from Biab. Why did you do that? Still, a great song!

Hans Thanks, Hans! To answer your question: Chris and I have been working together for more than 10 years, the early songs all have BIAB bass players because Marty was not around back then. Having said that, Marty will be on some of the remakes we are doing, replacing the original BIAB part.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
