Hi Izzy!
Not at all dull, man. Looking at your band list, at least the guitarists didn’t leave! Great vocal, and Mel certainly delivered the goods. I wondered why you had no delay on your vocal, then one of the verses answered that.

Clearly you like a wide range of genres - you’ve got enough to compile your very own White album!

Loved it.

Andrew
PS Really appreciated the clear instructions on how to listen to your song.

Man, I dig those lyrics. What a great song, Izzy. Great Blues feel that reaches back to the past and adds all the updates since. Are you saying you used Melodyne to reach those high ones. Ha, and my mom said cheaters never win. Your vocals are super, man. What a great choice of musicians too. The first spin made me want more, so I spun it again. Outstanding lyrics, and the perfect Blues melody to present them. Great sounds, Izzy.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Izzy, super song. Amazing vocals! I mean, they're...amazing. Did I say amazing? I should have, since they are, well, AMAZING. I said that, RIGHT???

Nice band, nice mix. Nicer than nice all the way around.

I've used Mel for harmonies for more songs than I'll ever post here in my lifetime. For me, my sung harmonies are 100% better 100% of the time. But I'm not entirely right either, so there's that.

(There's a hard (T-Pain) note bend of the "the-re" lyric at 2:27 that would sound more in line with the genre if not so hard. Caveat: See above note about me not being entirely right.)

Cool song!

nice 1-4-5 variation, 1–4–5: the most written progression in American music history, you did it justice.

Hi Izzy,

You know I love your stuff. Lyrically you're so clever and real storyteller. Love your vocals, that raw edginess is a winner. Absolutely nothing dull about this number. Great arrangement, from the subtle resonator guitar to the sax and harmonica, everything fits and works perfectly.

Another one of yours added to my "favs" playlist.... shortly to be renamed "Izzy's list"

Kind regards

Really cool. There are some real gems in those lyrics. The kind that makes me say man I wish I'd have thought of that!

Loved the sax.

Hi Andrew,

I’m a fan of many genres, but on a BIAB forum, I mostly stick to what the RTs let me cook up!

The White Album? a classic I absolutely ADORE! Though I’ve noticed some music pundits classify it as a wee bit “hotch-potch”—a term that only gets me thinking my work’s got ambition problems.

But isn’t the beauty of a mosaic its eclectic chaos?

All good, though—variety keeps life interesting!

Thank you for your kind comments and for getting me all philosophical.🙄

Cheers,
Izzy

Hi Marty,

When it comes to Rock and Blues, I’ve got my vocals cranked to that “note-bending, mic-dancing” upper register where the magic (and maybe a few strategically dodged pitch perils) live. Studio sessions are a dream, of course—punch-ins, pitch-perfecting, and Melodyne’s help turning my solo into a chorus of harmonies. 🙈🙉🙊
But when I’m live, I’ve got to tweak the key a smidge—it’s like giving the song a cozy little blanket instead of a firehose.

As always, a big thank-you for your time and ears—your efforts never go unnoticed (or unappreciated).

Cheers,
Izzy

Hi Ron
As per the glitch at 2:27 (please see my reply to Marty). Production fatigue often leads me to the forrest/trees roadblock.
Thank you for unfailingly providing appreciated support

Hi Herb.
Thanks for the lyric comment. I'm a lyric junkie, probably too many crossword and find a word puzzles. The sax was a last resort because I couldn't find a suitable harp.
I was just about to ask Bob (Tunemonger) for help but ran out of time.
Thanks for the spin and comments.
Regards
Izzy.
