I like some of the new views in Band in a Box, but I like working in the traditional view with all the buttons. I have tried "Control T" but it won't change and I can't find a toggle button to get me back to the tradition view. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

With the new modernized interface, I don't believe the CTRL-T toggle traditional view is available anymore. With the integration of multi-view and multi-picker, I'm not sure that could be supported going forward.

If you are missing some buttons, you can try clicking on a "gear" icon on upper right > Toolbar Settings>Add/Remove buttons.
I am sure most buttons you've used before are available there.

That's disappointing, but thanks for the info.... I thought it was something I was doing wrong.

No, you're not doing anything incorrectly. The Control-T that toggled between the two original views does not work any longer.

Yes, I can confirm that Ctrl+T to change the view back and forth no longer does what it used to now that 2026 has a fully redesigned GUI. If I am not mistake the alternate view or "modern" view before this new redesign was released roughly in 2017, so it'd just be 2017-2025 versions that you'd be able to use Ctrl+T to toggle between the old "Modern" view versus "Classic" view as we've known them the last several years.

I recall it as 2018 but you are correct about the change. 2018 was like 2026 in the sense that the GUI had a major simplification (responding to many suggestions by users) AND it did one other major improvement: reorganizing the BIAB folder structure.

If that Ctrl+T to change the view doesn't work, and there is no longer a button on the upper left to switch to full view, how do I do it?

Welcome to the forums @Tigerlily.

In BIAB 2026, the various views are available using the icons on the left side of the monitor or the dropdown list from the "Views" icon.
