It's a song about bygone youth and lost time that can never be recovered. Carpe Diem, "especially when the sun is shining."
Just so you know, I'm not sponsored by any motorcycle brands

Lyrics:
Verse 1
Engines hum beneath the sun,
South of France, the road’s begun.
Wind in hair, the laughter flows,
Chasing dreams where freedom grows.
Verse 2 (8 bars)
Through the hills, the rivers bend,
Every mile with my best friends.
Heat of summer, hearts ignite,
Rolling fast into the night.

Chorus
Ride the summer sky, let the stars be our guide,
From the coast of France to the Adriatic tide.
Feel the rhythm of the wheels, hear the ocean’s song,
Every heartbeat says this is where we belong.

Verse 3
Italy calls with golden light,
Croatian shores by midnight bright.
Salt on skin, the waves embrace,
Fire and laughter fill the space.

Verse 4
Stories told by candle glow,
Songs we sing as embers slow.
Love is found in fleeting hours,
Summer’s magic, endless powers.
Chorus
Under moonlit skies, we’ll dance and we’ll swim,
Music in the air, love burning within.
No maps, no plans, just the road and the breeze,
Living wild and free, doing just as we please.

Hi Laurent!
Initially, my mind was primed to hear something akin to Steppenwolf, so I was pleasantly surprised by the style of band, melody and singer you had chosen - all suiting the subject very well! There is a certain openness and freedom in the music, along with a positive vibe, and this supports the music very well. The melody glides along as well.

I had to chuckle a few times while watching the video - which was very good - at how AI generated and evolved certain scenes … where did that helmet come from? Where did that rider come from? Driving on the LHS then RHS? Putting those details aside, the video really helped paint a picture of the joy of riding - closest thing to flying, they say.

A good song - enjoyed it immensely.

Andrew

Hi Laurent

You’ve captured the free and easy feel here, of being on your motorbike and not a care in the world…just cruising. Really nice production.

You say you’re not sponsored by any bike brand, but if you were it’d be a Triumph, wouldn’t it? Eh? Wouldn’t it? Go on commit yourself.

Kind regards

Great song, excellent guitar! Your Suno tracks are better than mine, I usually have a microglitch or two that I hope nobody notices. Not Triumphs, Lee, they're oil-leaking POSs. At least they were in the seventies when I rode. ; )

Hi Rob

Sorry Laurent, this is off topic and Rob threw down his motorcycle glove.

I’m sure you can get lemons no matter which brand you buy. I had a 1990s Triumph Thunderbird whilst I was living in England. It was a beautiful bike and I loved riding it around the Norfolk countryside. (Picture attached) I would have like to have had it in Australia but didn’t want to go through all the protocols to export it. Never gone back to a motorcycle, but Laurent’s song and video sure does capture the freedom and feel of flying you get on a bike. What I got back on my bike, I’ve probably now spent on guitars and music equipment. Both very satisfying pursuits.

Kind regards.

Love the groove happening on this one, Laurent, good write, good band, Suno vocal sounds good too. Video was fun to watch, I'm always amazed at what you and Marty can accomplish!

Highlight for me was the extended guitar during the outro, excellent!

Hi, Laurent.

Bright, pleasant pop.

Suno does its usual magic with the vocals.

Who's playing the guitar? Whoever it is, it sound good.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Sweetly breezy summer song. As a lifelong motorcycling commuter I can't relate to the music as a riding soundtrack but it's very nice.

Thanks Andrew for the feedback. It's true that there are inconsistencies in some AI-generated videos. It just proves we're still useful.

Thank you for the comments and I agree with TuneMonger on the opinion given on Triumph motorcycles in the 70s (this is no longer the case now) We were fans of Japanese bikes, 4-cylinder 4-stroke or 3 or 2-cylinder 2-stroke with a clattering noise but which revved very high.

Oh, yeah, LOVE THIS, Laurent! Great beat and a fun travelling song --through life. Man, great choices of sax. The whole band is perfect. Love that bass. Very cool video too. I like the almost-choreographed riding.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Very cool! The Suno sax sounded great, so it would have been nice to hear it again at the end along with (but not at the same time as) the guitar solo.
