From my brief reading of what it does, seems it take your original vocal recording and will replace it with one of its voices, though will not make a bad recording sound good. There is a free version with two voices as well so might try it out. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/resing/?pkey=resing-free

I am not sure if the site you mention is the one I used, but I needed a female voice for two or three lines in a song I was recording. I am not the best vocalist, and you can hear my ‘tone’ come through in the result, but a reasonable outcome nonetheless. You can hear the female vocal at 3:48 Soundcloud - Mrs O’Connor [n.b. For clarity, if you head straight to this point in the song, you might wonder what the lyric is about] Anyway, my experience with this gave me a reasonable result. Andrew

will not make a bad recording sound good. ...and will not make a good recording sound better. So whats the point? That was exactly my conclusion to this.

I am installing the free version now, probably what I am hoping for is if a vocal is reasonably in tune, but for some reason I don't like my voice on it (and I often don't) I could use one of their voices.
But maybe too much to ask, I will give it a quick try out.

If enough are REALLY interested, I'll remix one of my recent User Showcase posts with these vocals. Have trialed similar products before. Most seem to replace the nice parts of my vocals and keep the stuff I wish they'd replace. Too much Artificial and not enough Intelligence yet to my ears. But maybe IKM has cracked the code...

... ...and will not make a good recording sound better. So whats the point? That was exactly my conclusion to this. My understanding is that it changes the 'voice', so you use it if you want a different sounding voice, e.g. a female voice.

I have used Audimee for a similar purpose. The problem is it still sounded too much like me singing. It's quite adept at picking up the nuances in the original vocal track it's fed.

I tried it out and the female Jenny sounded just like the male Neil, who sounded a lot like me. It uses a lot of resources and caused my mini pc to overheat during processing. I deleted it.

I bought the full version and played around with it. I was not impressed - it's slow, and most of the voices weren't that useful to me. But the biggest problem is there's no way to fix it when it mis-identifies a phoneme. Unhappy that it's singing "poy" instead of "boy"?. Too bad, there's no way to fix it without giving it different audio. I posted a demo on a different forum demonstrating that is definitely will not make a bad singer sound better.

Some days ago I also tested the free version of ReSing and I'm not impressed at all. Last year I bought Sonarworks SoundID VoiceAI: https://www.sonarworks.com/soundid-produce/voiceaiIn my opinion it is much better an easier to handle. You can try the Plugin with 2 male voices, 2 female voices and 2 instruments. You can download and try the perpedual version with 2 male voices, 2 female voices and 2 instruments and you also get 3000 tokens to try all different voices and instruments on their Server. ________________________________________________________________________ BiaB 2026 | Windows 11 | Cubase 15 Pro | Reason 13 | Korg Collection 6 and other VSTIs

SoundID is indeed more user-friendly and delivers better results, but it also does not allow manual correction of incorrect lyrics. If you could correct misheard song lyrics, it would be almost perfect. I also like the fact that they offer a perpetual license.

Thanks, well I had trouble authorising Resing, so will give Sound ID a try. Well that didn't go well either installing and verifying licence, so have given up on both.

So I got IK Resing demo up and running - Seems to be an ARA VST3 and appears to work in Reaper. But, results sound like me and daffy duck both singing together. I am afraid it was horrible.

ReSing claims to be the only product that does what it does… Of course not. Like all other AI products, gotta pay for all the data center usage somehow. The pricing is tiered — $130 for the basic package. You want the Vocal Modeling add-on? That’s $150. There’s another $100 for a Producer’s Pack Vol 1and then a slew of Pro Voices that you can hire for one month at a time for $19–$29 per month. There may be more add-ons but I stopped counting. IKM ReSing Unless you pop down the first $280, ReSing is useless for anything other than demos, same as the AI products I already use. At least the one I use most translates MusicXML so I get notes and words—ReSing can’t. Frankly, I miss the 1980s when so many demos all used the same voice — but it was Livingston Taylor (James’s brother) and he is easy on the ears. Haven’t heard a single AI product yet about which I can say the same.

202 New RealTracks Released with Band-in-a-Box 2026!
With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). And for big, bold arrangements, we have uptempo soul horns (4) featuring a three-part hip horn section with options for a full mix or stems of each individual horn — plus an accompanying rhythm section (4) of drums, bass, guitar, and electric piano!
Rock & Pop (Sets 476–482):
Our new rock & pop RealTracks bring a powerful mix of requested favorites, fresh genres, and modern chart-inspired styles! We have more of our popular “Producer Layered Acoustic Guitars (15)” featuring Band-in-a-Box favorite Brent Mason. We’ve continued our much-requested disco styles (10), and added new Celtic guitar (5) with a more basic, accessible approach than our previous Drop-D or DADGAD offerings. There are also highly requested yacht rock styles (17), inspired by the smooth, polished soft-rock sound of the late ’70s and early ’80s — laid-back grooves, silky electric pianos, warm textures, elegant harmonic movement, and pristine production aesthetics. Fans of heavier styles will love our new glam metal (13), capturing the flashy, high-energy sound of ’80s arena-ready guitar rock. We also have a set of rootsy modern-folk rock (18), with a warm, organic sound combining contemporary folk textures and driving acoustic strumming. And we’ve added lots of new modern pop styles (16) — the kinds of sounds you’re hearing on the radio today, featuring exciting new drums, synths, and cutting-edge RealTracks arrangements.
Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
Check out all the 202 new RealTracks (in sets 468-488)!
And, if you are looking for more, the 2026 49-PAK (for $49) includes an impressive collection of 20 bonus RealTracks, featuring exciting and inspiring additions to add to your RealTracks library. You'll get new country-rhythm guitar styles from PG Music favorites Johnny Hiland and Brent Mason, along with modern-pop grooves that capture today’s radio-ready sound! There are also new indie-folk styles with guitar, bass, 6-string bass used as a high-chording instrument, acoustic guitar, and banjo. Plus, dedicated "cymbal fills" RealDrums provide an added layer that work very well with low-key folky styles with other percussion.
