Thanks, Chay! The harmonica is such a universally loathed instrument, I'm so glad forum members are receptive to my playing. I appreciate it!

Thanks, Floyd! I know my voice ain't that great, so I appreciate the encouragement you've given me over the years. And the technical help, too. More than anyone, you've made my time here positive!

A gorgeous dame in the front row is trying desperately not to swoon, but your understated delivery is doing the heavy lifting—her resistance is melting faster than butter under a hot sun.

Your timing is tighter than a drummer’s snare, and every line lands with the confidence of a seasoned crooner
And guess what? No Suno sorcery needed for this lady, she’s after the honest, straight‑up, un‑filtered Bob, and you’re serving it up in spades.

And that harmonica? It's the Casanova of the arrangement, those “money‑notes” pour out like a rain of glittering dimes that even the most jaded lady could not ignore.

Bottom line: George and Ira would be nodding in approval from the great beyond. You’ve taken their classic, given it a fresh coat of paint, and served it up with a side of “real‑deal” charisma.

A very entertaining listen !!

And the next classic Tunemonger Jazz Album is dropping when ???

Bravo, maestro!

Izz, I don't know how you come up with this stuff! As I've said, you may have missed your calling to be a writer of some sort. The entertainment value of your comments measure extremely high. That's three "Super Reviews" from you that I have now printed out and posted on my wall for inspiration. Don't know if I'm worthy of such accolades, but they certainly put a big smile on my face! Thanks again for taking what must be a fair amount of time to pen some illustrious prose that I will try to be worthy of. I am working on another tune from the Great American Songbook, hopefully I will have it ready by the middle of the month when "Embraceable You" dies out. I'm excited about it because it will feature the harp prominently. And yes, I WILL sing, for better or worse. No AI. Thanks again, great scribe, for your motivating message!!!j Bob

Dude, I am on top of those PD releases! More are coming! Thanks for the encouragement. Funny, I record a vocal, then I play it back and hear all the notes I flubbed - how does that happen? Oh well. I think you're really gonna like the next one. It's right up your Tin Pan Alley!

Thanks, Andrew! I'm going to try and take a page from your book next time out. Show some creativity. We'll see how it goes.

You’ve got such a smooth band, including your harmonica.

Your vocal fits the song well and has that nice lilting feel to it.
We used to listen to a lot of Benny Goodman with Martha Tilton as his vocalist
And we called her “lilting Martha Tilton.” Nice!

Gershwin tunes are sooooo good and you’ve paid homage quite well.
We love diving into the public domain every Jan. 1. smile

Loved it!

Thanks, J&B! Another new PD tune is "Dream a little dream of me," and Janice would be awesome on that. I'd love to hear her take on "Body and Soul" as well. I'm sure it'd be divine. Haven't heard of Martha Tilton, thanks for the tip!

Hey Rob,
Man, you can sing really low, so low... and still stay in tune. Amazing!
I played the song again after you started singing. I thought the rhythm of the song was a bit faster than when you joined in. But I was wrong. Everything fit perfectly.
I imagined you were in the microphone. That's how close your voice sounded in the song.

A really nice song, Rob!
Hans

Thanks, Hans! I'm always trying different things when it comes to singing, in hopes that I'll find something that'll make me sound good. No luck yet : ( You might be right the first time about when I came in on the song. I've been having trouble with that. I have something called essential tremor, it's neurological. I hope that's not the cause. It did end my guitar playing days, so it's some serious stuff. I can't use a smartphone either. But I can type, obviously. Though slowly, and with many errors.
