This song was a exercise or drill I did to familiarize myself better with the finger board. Follow the Circle - Video Follow the Circle - Soundcloud The band: Title: Follow the Circle File:Follow the Circle.SGU Key=C , Tempo 80, Length (m:s)=2:36 No intro. 48 bar chorus, from bar 1 to bar 48. Repeat x1 chorus No Melody No Soloist track. Song is saved with Volume, Pan, Reverb, Chorus, Bank0, Style is _BOND.STY (Bond Fusion Ballad) On my last song some have asked about the choir. I used a plugin from Native Instruments called Jacob Collier Audience Choir. I used my Presonus Atom SQ which has touch sensitive pads and by rolling my finger on the pad I can change the dynamics of the choir. Scott Collingwood, lead guitar and fills, soundtrack production, and video production Band in a Box, Mixed and Mastered in Fender Studio Pro Video Production done with DaVinci Resolve. Guitar Gibson Les Paul wP90s, Helix LT for amps and effects.

Hi Scott!
I enjoyed the guitars panned left and right that were alternating, and the different tone effects you applied for each ‘lap’ of the circle. Very relaxing!

It's a pretty melody that's easy to follow and has a very pleasing couple of measures starting at :11 that repeats itself multiple times that is memorable and gives the tune its character. It's a lovely piece that would fit well as a standout on an album.

Nice one, Scott! Love the morphing guitars and panned-opposite duet. Super feel, touch and tone throughout. Didn't sound like noodling to me, as the thematic elements are quite strong and enjoyable.
Funny, but your playing brings back a cascade of memories of previous songs by you over the years. You have a unique voice that really stands out, and I always enjoy hearing what you post.

Very nice calm tune full of peace and harmony which makes me relax after a long day. Enjoyable guitar playing and a nice work with the effects, especially the wah effect is a nice little surprise at the end, the circle feels like spiral development towards enlightenment.

It's a beautiful guitar solo reminiscent of Hank Marvin.
It doesn't feel like a practice piece at all.

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing.
