PS A good song to remember in times of doubt.

Thanks Andrew! This wouldn't be too hard to play along with. TB

This is great. I'd forgotten how professional your songs sound.
Your voice, the band, the production are all first class.
I really enjoyed this one. Thank you.

TOP stuff.

Thanks, Ray, for having a listen. The kick drum never was a concern for my ears. I will give it some attention! TB

Wonderful message, love the chorus especially. Those first two lines pretty much says it all:

"Life is a gift we open each day
Oh don't throw it all away"

Taking life for granted is so easy to do, and I think most of us are guilty of doing that at some point.

Love your vocals and playing, top notch arrangement and mix too.

Great to hear a new one from you, Torrey, very much enjoyed it!

Thank you Dave, I always highly value your comments! TB

Nice one, Torrey. Lots of original lines, too.

Hans, orange, red, yellow, black and white, we all have a problem of the heart we have to deal with! I certainly was looking in the mirror on a lot of this especially with the help of The Good Book! Thanks for having a listen! TB

Nice modulation and the guitar solo fits perfectly. Definitely one of your best songs, I really enjoyed your relaxed performance and how you managed to bring simple truth "Life is a gift we open each day" from your dream to all of us to hear.

Great line. Infact the entirety of the lyrics have a mighty fine message. Too many people learn this the hard way.

Good song

Torrey,

This is definitely Bluegrass/Pop-Rock/Gospel.
It's a different genre from your usual songs, but it still clearly reflects your individuality.
The swaying rhythm and simple, beautiful, and memorable melody make this a wonderful song.
Your vocals and guitar playing are as strong as ever.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Her Torrey, Great song! Love the lyrics.

Your special style and special voice are on full display here. No one sounds like you man!

Songwriting is exceptional, lyrics are deeply touching, and the instrumentation enhances the emotion perfectly. Production is polished, performances are expressive. It all comes together beautifully. Classic Torrey.

So good to see you.
