BIAB specs: Style: _MTSBAND.STYSaturday Night Funk Bass: 388 Electric Metal Ev120 Guit 1: 384 Electric, Rhythm Rock Southern Ev 120 Guit 2: 405 Acoustic, Strumming Ev120 Guit 3: 583 Electric Soloist Blues Roadhouse Ev120 Organ: 686 B3, Background Pop Ev 120 Drums: Nashville Even8 I do vocal with a little background singing from Jenny (free ReSing) and manage the odd live lick or two with some old arthritic fingers. Lyrics: I go down by the river Man that river runs fast I feel new like a baby but that feeling won’t last Everybody moving they move away from me I stare out in the distance to see what they can see I don't care anymore, I had my fill But if pride doesn’t get me, pure envy sure will There's a long line of trouble leading away from me Every day I think to myself "What's the next thing gonna be?" Trouble burns like a fever, It's burning in my blood Musta picked up something in that river-bottom mud I dunno know anymore, I’ve had my fill But if pride doesn’t get me, pure envy sure will I go down by the river Man that river runs fast I feel new like a baby but that feeling won’t last I don't care anymore, I’ve had my fill And if pride doesn’t get me, pure envy sure will (repeat) That's it. Love the instrumentation in and the arrangement of this song. The chord structure is excellent. It's a superb production all around. Very, very well done!

A very nice song! I like that bass and the solo guitar, but also your vocals here!
I'm not sure if the line "I dunno know anymore, I’ve had my fill
But if pride doesn’t get me, pure envy sure will" make sense to me.
Well, that doesn't matter, because in the song it fits like a glove.
Your vocals had a familiair sound, but I can't grab the name. It's a famous guy or group, so that must be nice to hear in your ears...
I have a feeling i will hear more from you!!!

Love the intro Mick, then the bass kicked in and I was hooked. This is a really solid rock song in every way. I’m trying to rack my brain as to who the vocalist sounds like at times. Maybe it’s Snow Patrol (Shut Your Eyes), but this is a song any top band could play and get a good reaction to.
