Beautiful song and choice of BiaB instrumentation. A really lovely production.

Your lyric and performance are full of wistfulness.
The band offers the perfect support and the dreamy steel is ace.
Nice session guys and the acoustic guitars work very well.

Good one!

Hi Vic,

I just listened to your somber, sad song with that aging voice of yours.
These are your own words; I also read them in your comments on the posters, but:

Yes, I agree, it is a sad song. But the guitar plays beautifully. And the pedal steel, or steel guitar, fits perfectly with it.
Yes, it is a somber song, but that keeps listeners listening. They listen to the suffering that speaks from your voice and all become introspective and think about their own situation. Well, when you are getting on in years, of course. But that is beautiful.
And yes, you have an aging voice. But that gives the song extra depth and weight. You shouldn't underestimate that.

So, what you called "not positive" might just be your strongest weapons. This song makes an impression. And the listener (or me in this case) remains silent after the last note...

Very well done!
Hans
