Hi All, Here’s a simple little no frills old-timey folk-country tune from us. This is called DEVOTION. Very cool. Beautiful and sad and chock full of feeling. Super vocals, and your D-18 is always a treat. Lovely acoustic backing track. Great harmonies as always by Joliz. Like that BiaB percussion track, will have to look it up.

Love the 2 sets of vocals together and the light instrumentation is a perfect fot for the song. Plus it's definitely a theme I relate to!

Love the swing feel of this, and that line:
And worst of all
I can’t watch you walk away
... sounds like a double meaning: does he desire to stop her walking away, or is it that he just can't *watch* it happening?
Your band notes indicate a bass, but it sounded really subdued to my ears - was that deliberate, or am I just hearing the low notes on the acoustic?
A good song.
