Ya, Reaper continues to impress! Not yet. How about if I told you this ReEQ was actually released for Reaper in Nov 2017 - almost 9 years ago ! I am pretty sure this is not Kennys first video of this feature....

The first post has been updated with the full version history (last update in Dec. 2021) and has links at the end for the plugin and its manual. ReEQ and ReSpectrum JS plugin for Reaper

Re REAPER. weeelll...i still use reaps version 2 cos its all i need. i run it with rb and bb. check out in version 2... ..reaeq ...and reafir also does eq and comp and a bunch of stuff. draw in your own eq curves etc etc. ...js plugins are a huge collection including eq's/comps.. and the kitchen sink from such brilliant folks as stillwell. in summary even in very early versions of reaps there was a ton of included plugins. for any lurkers just go to reaper.fm and dload early reaps versions... eg...version 2... https://www.reaper.fm/download-old.php?ver=2xand for fun...here is where it all began. i started on version 0.98 if i remember... https://www.reaper.fm/download-old.php?ver=0xcheck out many earlier versions. i'd like a buck or quid or mark etc from people in the early days who said to me... 'its shareware junk' 'cant be good for 60 bucks' etc etc....lol now loads of pro's use it all over the world.. just go to gearspace.com and start a thread.. 'wish to hear from pro studios that use reaper'. youll get a flood of replies. just trying to be fair....i used early versions of reaps with pg's great underestimated powertracks yonks ago and did a ton of songs with the combo as a test bed before i took the demos into a big studio where sometimes interestingly enough i couldnt get a better 'vibe'. i dont use the later versions of reaps cos i love version 2 and dont need a later version. i can even drag into it from my other fav daw pg realband rb tracks...fast and easy....blink of an eye. frankly i use reaps less these days due to advancements in realband. viva la reaps/rb/bb...lol. rock on.... om

[quote=DrDan]Ya, Reaper continues to impress! Not yet. Reaper has never impressed me. Yeah, you've made that clear over time. There's been a simple set up for dynamic EQ almost since the word go with reaper - just had to assembled by the user from two components...part of the Reaper ethos. Reaper is, demonstrably from my perspective, very good, very cheap and VERY developer friendly where as Mike you've not demonstrated anything except very solid curmudgeon skills - something not to be ashamed of I might add. I suspect something that impresses you will, by virtue of such a commendation, be something I'd not care for. ReEQ is very well done, has a strong Fabfilter vibe even though it's quite old, and the price is right too.

I still use toilet paper but you may bidet.
