I think the second line effectively quashes any stalker overtones. I always love Dave's guitar and it sounds great as usual here. The story is good and the happy ending is much appreciated after all the bad news of late. Sounds like your little lyric critic is a keeper, too. Good work, enjoyed it much.

Hey, Marty, why all the talk about stalking? Sting had a number one hit with "Every Breath You Take" that took jealousy and stalking to the top for nine weeks and no one complained! But that's clearly not what your song is about. Oh, and how about Daryl Hall's "Private Eyes"? Okay, aside from that, you've got the bluesy swagger down and it sounds terrific!
