Spring is NearThe month of March can be a rollercoaster ride in this neck of the woods. The temperature can run 20F (-6.7C) or more above or below our average temperature, sometimes in the same 24 hours. Spring flowers start sprouting. We can also have some very strong snowstorms. This song attempts to represent that. BiaB style - USHR 2 - 16ths Soul - Ballad Styl Tempo - 60 BPM I deleted the guitar and bass tracks Piano - Kontakt - Amadeus - Harp Strings - Kontakt - Amadeus - Full String Ensemble Utility 1 - Kontakt - Solid State Orchestra - strings copied Utility 1 - Ultra Analog VA3 - Strings - Movie Flashback Utility 2 - 2061: Strings Rhythm - Pop Country - Sw Via my keyboard controller I am playing the double bass track (Kontakt - Amadeus - basses). Via my breath and keyboard controllers I am playing the Swam trumpet and Swam flute tracks. As always all comments are welcomed.

Mario,
Really nice job on the trumpet and the flute. Nice strings.
Very cool when that trumpet re-visits those winter storms...
An enjoyable listen.

Uplifting sounds. That trumpet almost reaches the range of a piccolo trumpet. Dizzy's puffy cheeks come to mind.
Yep a few days ago we had a 30+ shift in degrees. The season when all clothes for all seasons are NOT put away.
Love that flute melody. Everything played so well and mix to perfection. The harshness in the trumpet when it comes back in says a lot about thos crazy temperature changes. Another fine interpretation of what is, Mario.

Hi Mario
You certainly have captured the sense of springs return. I particularly liked the trumpet and flute too, well done. A very relaxing melody and ending with a sense of anticipation. Spring, bring it on! ….oh dear, here comes our Autumn!
Good stuff Mario, kind regards

Very cool, Mario. That opening sequence through the ascending trumpet run is breathtaking. Super job keeping the energy ebbing and flowing throughout. Really nice playing on your virtual instruments. Like where the muted(?) trumpet comes in. Super mix, too.
We swung from 85F to 35F and snow in 24 hours a couple of weeks ago. Weird stuff...

I think we have very similar weather, Mario, I guess we are not that far from each other. Certainly been a rollercoaster ride up this way too!
Brilliant piece of music, your use of the breath controllers always sounds fabulous. Man, that trumpet when it comes back in is unreal!
Nicely done, enjoyed.

Beautiful and relaxing, despite all the unpredictable weather. As always, what you do with those Swam instruments is the best part of the song - it’s incredible how realistically you play them. Enjoyed my listen ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/images/icons/default/thumbs_up.gif)

Wow, when that Swam trumpet came in it took the instrumental into a new level. The Swam flutes are also gorgeous and later snowstorm dramatic. Absolutely beautiful soundtrack-like piece - and I love the strings backing.

Hi Mario! I like the steady rhythm/beat throughout this piece, but my favourite is the strings throughout, but particularly the ‘drama’ they add around 3:05 - that’s a good section. Andrew

Nicely done, enjoyed. Thanx Dave. If you live in the lower part of Ontario near the great lakes you get the same weather as we do but just a day earlier in many cases. Yes I think the Swam trumpet sounds fantastic.
