Sunday's Smooth Jazz

Last Sunday I thought that I would just have a little fun and this is the result.

BiaB style - Sweatin' MIDI Lounge Funk Solo
Tempo - 75 BPM

From the Style - Congos - Kontakt - Brio Ensemble - Congos
Drums - SSD-5 - Classic - Ballad Vintage
Piano - 2083 piano-Smooth Jazz Cool - UVI Workstation - Plug Sound Pro = Suitcase Tremolo

I am playing my SX Fretless bass, my Jay Turser jazz box guitar, and via my breath and keyboard controllers the Swam tenor sax

As always all comments are welcomed.

Ooh.

Those opening guitar lines are delicious, and the goodness just keeps getting better. The octave accents are SO cool. Very lifelike and utterly musical sax work, too. AND a nicely buoyant fretless as well.

This type of arrangement with an EP providing the backdrop will always speak to me. This one did not disappoint.

Wonderful music, Mario.

Nice opening with Congos Mario, grabs the listener straight away. Then that shimmer from start to finish, has a very hypnotic effect. All instruments played well and a nice relaxing listen.

Great job.

Mellow, in the good way, to the max.
Love the fretless and, man, that sax is over the top good.
And that guitar gets ya from the get go. smile

Great listen!

Always know i'm in for a treat when i see the word SWAM in your description. And this one has the added attraction of "Fretless." Hey, truth is i need no description --just the name Mario is enough to let us know it's gonna be special. This one is a no-doubter. Over the fence and out of the park. Cool jazz sounds and a fine progression. Excellent mix and your arrangement is just right. Love that guitar too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi Mario.

This is 100% the sort of smooth jazz that suits a Sunday. You never stop being creative! It's quite a credit to that across all the years that I've known you on these forums that you consistently create beautiful music. "Ambience" and "music that soothes the psyche" are a specialties of yours and you do them really well.

Thanx so much Noel for this fantastic review. Most of the time I try to compose melodic music but at times I explore other options. I love to push BiaB into new territory.

Love the percussion and keys this one starts off with. Then the nice guitar riffin'. Finally the Swami Master comes centerstage and the spell is completely cast. Great job!
