Here is a new song for April. It is loosely based on the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star from the Public Domain. I was scrolling Youtube videos and was watching some different takes on old nursery rhymes and childrens songs so I gave this a go..

Hi Scott.

This is really beautiful. I love the tone of your guitar, and the backing band that you've used is absolutely superb. And to top it all off, you playing is smooth and very, very lyrical. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. It's a perfect fit for a somewhat drizzly kind of autumn day here in Melbourne right now.

This is superb, Scott. The effect of pivoting a familiar melody into new directions that turn out to be the same familiar melody is very cool. Just a wonderful composition.

LOVE your tone and touch throughout, and your phrasing is excellent. But then it always is. smile

Nice backing tracks, mix and master, too.

Very twinkly.

This is good. The guitar tone works and I liked how you changed keys throughout.

The way the lead sits across the stereo image is interesting.
A calm, pleasant development/variation.

It's a bold move to adapt a children's rhyme. It creates a pleasant, dreamy listening experience.

Listened a few days ago, giving it another spin now as I type. Nice arrangement Scott, great tone, nice variations on the melody, and I dig the modulations too.

Good stuff!

A nice new instrumental take on the "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". As other have noted, it's a great guitar tone for the piece. When I created my "Venus Twinkles" instrumental last October I was using a lot of 5ths chords for the first time, but what I had needed a chorus, then doing some research I discovered that "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" was an example of perfect 5ths, so I added it as a sort of chorus, then for 2 sections I also added the chords to "Hush". Next in December I had to do a vocal version - "Venus Twinkles [Lady of Love]" with Lucy, but I wrote my own lyrics, for example changing the 2nd line from "How I wonder what you are" to "Now I know just who you are" (Venus). Then in March I did the rock version, "Venus Twinkles [LoL- solid rock version]", which is still my current post as I've been struggling getting demo vocals for Lucy and others to sing due to the limitations of where I live. My neighbour now has a dog that yaps whenever I try to record!

#92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Scott,
I never thought I’d like _any_ version of this song, but you’ve really put your own spin on it (and for the better).
Really enjoyed my listen [Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]

Hi Scott,

An excellent song with a very nice guitar play! A few days ago I listened to it on YouTube, but then I couldn't respond. So now, while it's playing I did that.
And I also enjoyed listening to it again. Very nice melody!

Thanks Scott. A good idea well done. I must try this with my grand child as a modern nursery rhyme with beat and improvisation.
