Does anyone remember Pipeline, Musocity or SolidRock? Look at +++ THIS +++ eleven year old "Making Usertracks with Realband" video and see if you agree. There is also a video series about using Band-in-a-Box with the DAW Reaper that Reaper users may find interesting. Without my asking, he once built me a custom script to work around an intermittent BiaB dual screen bug that the PGMusic team couldn't help with. One hardware DAW and two BiaB versions later, I still use it. So that was a real positive experience. And another: Found his posts about Reaper integration with BiaB to be so inspirational that I spent three days or so trialing Reaper. Didn't work out for me. Still... On the other hand, his latest video is cool, but I don't think I have a need for the functionality.
