Current drum kit warning [Resolved] #885005 04/19/26 10:44 AM Band-in-a-Box for Windows

OP John Payne Apprentice J Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 189 Rockwall, TX, USA	Suddenly this morning, on every song, and every time BIAB rebuilds a song, I get warning messages cycling through "Current drum kit has no base, snare, closed hi hat, open hi hat," but then the song plays perfectly with drums. Resetting to factory settings didn't help and these are BIAB files (mostly Real Track) that I've been using for years. It's been working fine until now. I'm using BIAB 2024 (1113) Audiophile.

No telling how long I've been running version 1113, since I'd assumed the check-for-updates function was accurate. But, I've now updated to 1114 and did the Styles rebuild, but still getting those warning messages. I have been using a lot of styles lately while creating quick-and-dirty practice backing tracks for a setlist for a band I'm filling in with, so it appears something's gone wonky with styles. Interesting that, as far as I can tell, everything seems to be working and sounding just fine after I get through those "Your current drum kit ... " warnings.

Earlier, I'd done the "Amost all" reset to factory settings and now performing the reset "All" has fixed the problem. The obvious hint I'd overlooked was, "including MIDI driver and patch map". But thanks for looking in Jim.

There is a button at the bottom of the initial post that marks the thread as resolved. That will help others when searching for a solution to the same issue. Also, once you have the program working like you want there are selections to save and load settings. If you have to reset to factory settings you can load your settings in a few seconds.
