Could you be more specific please?
If you mean, can you write notes in the Melody or Soloist or other MIDI tracks that are quarter-note triplets, then Yes. In the Editable Notation Mode, there are some settings for Swing versus Straight feel that affect how the notation looks if you want to know more. Likewise printing views.
If you mean Playable RealTracks, let us know.
If you mean something like a 3 on 2 feel having to do with certain styles and key signatures, let us know.
If you mean something else, please elaborate so we can help.

I am not using midi. Just real tracks.
Take “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”. Beatles.
The outro has a measure with four beats using quarter note triplets. Can that be done with the Real Tracks which are used in the arrangement?

Hi Michael. The easiest way to spread the 6 notes over the 4 beats is to use microchords and arrange their timing as shown on the image below. Right-click on the chordsheet to access microchords. On the image below, I have used a C chord (your chord may well be different). It is also necessary to set each beat to "triplet". (Note: Background and Soloist Realtracks do not work with microchords.) ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=32567&filename=two quarter note triplets in 4-4.jpg) If you do not feel comfortable using microchords, the PG Music video below will help. Well, things started out pretty well. I went to.BIAB and I used the micro chords to get everything the way I want it.
There were some anticipatory beats, on the final eighth note of a measure, for example, and I put those in. I put the quarter note triplets in, as discussed.
When I got everything done, I imported my song into real band but real band promptly wrecked everything that I did to the microchords in band in a box.
Is there some way to bring these micro chord adjustments from BIAB over to Realband?

you could render the tracks to audio and import them - depends on what you want to do in RB, did you open the BIAB file in RB or drag and drop?

Hi Michael, Which version of BIAB/RB do you have? I have BIAB/RB 2026 and the chords transfer okay. If you have background and/or soloist Realtracks in the mix, these tracks do not work with microchords (only 'rhythm' and bass tracks work). Tracks 5 and 6 on the image below are Background tracks and the wave form shows that these have not been played in triplets. In my version of RB, the second note of the triplet is not generating its full musical length. This can be seen in the image below by the gaps I've highlighted. I have reported this to the development team. ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=32575&filename=realband - microchords.jpg) As a work-around at the moment, I suggest that you save the audio files from BIAB and then load those audio files into RB where you can mix them and get the performance sound that you would like. --Noel
