Ok, so out of the blue today I get this error:
Wavform Device Can't Play This Format
This is only when ForteDxi is selected as the output. I am unable to generate any output. I do get sound when using MS wavetable synth.
I haven't made any change to settings other than to test the output when the problem occurred.
Thoughts?

Reisntalled BIAB. Now ForteDXi has disappeared. Can't find a way to reinstall this.
I have purchased a registration code... How do I get this device back??? How do I register?
Very frustrated....

To register the Coyote Forte, you have to open Forte and enter the registration number inside the program, I think it is in the Help menu item at the top of the Coyote.
If it is not installed, you need to run the executable file to install it first.
To see if it IS installed already, look in the preferences area of BiaB and check the DXi section for where you can select a DXi synth. Check if it is available as a midi device. It has to be selected there to use in BiaB.
It sounds as if your 30 trial may have ran out, is this possible? If so, entering the registration number should fix it.

You should have the ForteDXi installer program on your BIAB installation disk (I can't remember exactly where it is, but you should recognize it if you browse the installation file names). Run the EXE installer program.
After installed, run BIAB and go to the DXi tab and select the Forte as your synth. Once it pops up, right click on the Forte screen and enter your registration code. I'm not sure if you actually have to do this if it was previously entered, but I don't believe it will hurt.
Once you've done that, close all the windows and close BIAB. Then relaunch BIAB and test Forte to make sure it works.

Reinstalled ForteDxi 1.6 from the PG website. Entered my code.
Same error: Waveform Device Can't Play This Format. Everything was working fine, didn't change a thing and suddenly this error?
This program and its glitches are really starting to get the best of me...

Just a followup...I have tried to reset to factory defaults and still the same error.
I am fairly computer savvy but have never seen this error before. Checked all audio settings and all are fine (seems to only be in effect with the Forte synth).
Are there any Forte settings that I can manipulate?

Ok, Fixed it. Audio output driver setting...why it suddenly changed itself between uses is mind boggling.
