Hallo, die Akademie BURG FÜRSTENECK in Hessen (Deutschland) veranstaltet in Kooperation mit M3C Berlin seit vielen Jahren Seminare für Band-in-a-Box. Die nächsten Workshops sind vom 18. bis 20. Juni 2010. In zwei unterschiedlichen Workshops zur Wahl erhalten Sie gutes Grundlagenwissen zum Umgang mit Band-in-a-Box und ihrem Einsatz in der musikpädagogischen Praxis, im Selbststudium und als Hilfe beim Üben von Improvisationen. Gearbeitet wird mit der aktuellen deutschen Version von Band-in-a-Box. Computer stehen zur Verfügung. Workshop I
Musik üben oder unterrichten mit "Band-in-a-Box" - "Da ist Musik drin"
Leitung: Wolfgang WierzykBand-in-a-Box bietet sowohl für das eigene tägliche Üben als auch im musikpädagogischen Bereich so viele verschiedene Anwendungsmöglichkeiten wie kaum eine andere Musiksoftware. In Minutenschnelle erstellen Sie ein Arrangement, zu dem Sie selbst oder Ihre Schüler/innen und Musikgruppen mit Begeisterung singen und musizieren werden. Beim Instrumentalunterricht steht die „Virtuelle Band“ bei Bedarf unterstützend zur Verfügung. Selbst Gehörbildung wird mit Band-in-a-Box zum Lern-Vergnügen. Auch wenn Sie eine komplette Songproduktion planen, kann diese in allen Produktionsschritten – von der Aufnahme (MIDI und Audio) über das Mastern bis hin zur CD-Produktion - mit dieser Software realisiert werden. Über 800 Styles aus den Bereichen Rock, Pop, Jazz und Volksmusik lassen Sie für jeden Song ein passendes Arrangement finden. In diesem Workshop werden Sie Schritt für Schritt in die MIDI- und Audiofunktionen des vielseitigen Programms eingeführt und lernen zahlreiche Anwendungsmöglichkeiten für Unterricht und Selbststudium kennen. Gern sollten Sie ggf. Ihr Instrument mitbringen. Eine intensivere Instrumentalarbeit findet in dem Workshop II statt. Workshop II
Improvisieren mit PC-Unterstützung - Jammen mit "Band-in-a-Box"
Leitung: Harald Wehnhardt Wer Improvisieren erlernen will, muss vor allem eines tun: Üben, Üben, Üben. Und das funktioniert am besten mit einer Begleitband, die ordentlich groovt, einen guten Sound hat und willig die favorisierten Übungsstücke immer und immer wieder spielt. Eine reale Begleitband kommt dabei schnell an ihre „mentalen“ Grenzen und wird bei jeder Wiederholung etwas an Enthusiasmus verlieren. Diese Problematik kann man mit Band-in-a-Box sehr gut umgehen, denn die virtuelle Band zeigt in dieser Hinsicht keine Abnutzungserscheinungen. Auch die x-te Wiederholung wird klaglos gespielt, so dass der „Improvisateur“ nach Gusto studieren kann. Wenn die virtuelle Band „aufgestellt“ ist, geht es an die Improvisationsmodelle. Hier hat sich die pentatonische Herangehensweise bewährt. Mit der Pentatonik kann man gerade als Einsteiger/in ausgezeichnet eigene Melodien entwickeln und ohne Nachzudenken spielen. Das ermöglicht ein völlig unverkrampftes Improvisieren mit der Folge, dass man den Kopf für schöne Phrasierungen und Tonbildung frei hat. Diese Form des lockeren und freien Spiels kann sehr schnell erlernt werden und bildet die Voraussetzungen dafür, interessante Licks und Riffs in das persönliche Spiel zu integrieren. Es gibt eine Reihe von Licks, die in der Grundform praktisch von jedem Musiker, insbesondere Jazz-Musiker, beherrscht werden. Die Kunst besteht darin, die Wendungen in das eigene Spiel zu integrieren und damit neue Melodien zu entwickeln. Wir werden uns mit den wichtigsten Licks beschäftigen und diese so lange spielen, bis sie automatisch in das eigene Spielrepertoire übergehen. Wenn das Tonmaterial in Fleisch und Blut übergegangen ist, kann man auf professionellem Niveau improvisieren und eigene Linien entwickeln. Die im Kurs verwendeten Licks kommen aus dem Jazz, können aber für alle Stilrichtungen eingesetzt werden. Die Licks sind sozusagen der „Grundwortschatz“ für ein entspanntes und dynamisches Improvisieren auf einem hohen musikalischen Niveau. Der Kurs ist geeignet für noch wenig und für weiter fortgeschrittene Instrumentalisten. Als Gitarrist kann der Referent bei diesem Instrument besonders unterstützen. Auf anderen Instrumenten sollten hinreichend eigene Grundkenntnisse für erste Improvisationsversuche vorhanden sein. Instrumente bitte mitbringen. Dieser Workshop II legt den Schwerpunkt auf die musikalischen Zusammenhänge. Die Grundlagen, wie man für diese Zwecke Band-in-a-Box bedient, werden in diesem Improvisationskurs aber erläutert. Dort wurde schon mehrmals nach Kursen gefragt.
