I want to see a PG product that offers a RealPak (a collection of RealTracks) for Brass Instruments!

I notice whenever I check out other music products at other companies (say soundfonts for example), these other companies have grouped voices making them available for band 'sections' (i.e. percussion, sax, trumpet). I always see a 'brass' product available at these places (some of them free and some commercial). At PG I see RealTracks groupings for piano, for guitar, etc. but nothing just for brass.

From my own perspective, I bought the MegaPak and now, having spent a considerable amount of time to figure out just what it was that I invested in (and it takes a rookie much longer than 30-days), now I find myself needing to buy the entire Jazz RealPak's (currently 1,2 and 3) and then some other miscellaneous RealTrack Sets in order to get all the brass instruments in one swoop. At current prices, that would put my purchase at well over $400 dollars (AFTER my investment in the MegaPak product).

I think with products like Garritan Jazz now out for $149 bucks and tons of MIDI soundfonts out there for free, that it would behoove PG Music to offer a RealTrack package that is more competitive and in my case, focused on the brass player. And, I don't think it's wrong for the brassies to ask for it -- especially because we continue to be loyal BIAB customers, both now and probably well into the future as much as pianists and/or guitarists for example (nothing against them as I play both). I don't think I should need to buy all the Jazz sets or packs just to get the brass for my compilations -- and right now I'm not since I've elected to use individual soundfonts. But, since RealTracks are unique to BIAB, yes I'd very much rather use them since the RealTrack concept is built right into the PG products. I guess what I'm saying is that this is a lost sale opportunity and I don't think I stand alone.

BIAB is a wonderful product but I don't know hardly any musician that wants or needs it ALL. Yes, there are those that want it, think they might need it, and slap down the cash for the entire shoot-sha-bang, but I don't think that's representative of the majority. I'd bet that most of us tend to focus on a primary genre and then maybe a second two or three genres that might tickle our fancy -- but certainly not every conceivable genre known to man!

Now obviously, I would rather invest in RealTracks than MIDI anything (who wouldn't), but if the price isn't going to get more competitive and the sound synths are sounding better and better (I base this on what I'm seeing in posts at the forums including the PG forum, the websites out there offering alternatives, and my own experiences with some of the new plug-in's), then lots of BIAB users will end up 'settling' for MIDI because of the lower cost -- unfortunately. What I read on the PG forum (and I read a lot), is more topics discussing the alternatives to RealTracks -- And I think that's going to be the trend given the investment one must make to get the RealTracks they need -- UNLESS of course, you've got it ALL.
