I stuck in some chords and was doing what I thought was a decent job of this but realize between my ear and the actual there are parts missing. Of course what inspired me was watching this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyXOjiVhH5UWhich aired the other night on TV. The original is here: Listening to the original who has a suggestion for real drums for that style? I can do the piano part no problem.... Key of A sounds like C#m with D and A being the rest of the chords but I need to figure out the slash bass chords....

One of my top favorites of all time. I play it in G. G, Bm, C, G on the verses. G D, C chorus.
Even named my dog "Jack My Dog". He died and now I can't bear to play or even hear the song.

I was working in a Capitol Records pressing plant in 1969 and the "Music from Big Pink" album was one we pressed then, when I first saw the cover I was underwhelmed to say the least. Loved the music though. "Axis Bold as Love" came out about the same time. There is a version of this with The Edge, Jimmy Paige and Jack White -all playing acoustic. It's on the "It Might Get Loud" video.
