Con il pochissimo tempo a disposizione e con varie difficoltà, sono riuscito a realizzare il mio primo arrangiamento di un pezzo che vorrei poi far cantare a moglie (sempre a livello casalingo si intende...).
Ho salvato il pezzo Midi, importato con Real Band, ma questo pur suonandolo nella tonalità giusta, mi riporta accordi "sballati" rispetto a quelli scritti in BaB. Ho provato a cambiare tonalità, ma senza risultato.
Chi mi da' un spunto per ricontrollare il tutto??

Per poterti aiutare al meglio, potresti indicare quali sono gli accordi giusti e quali quelli sballati?
Non serve tutto il brano, bastano ad esempio le prime 4 battute.

Ho riprovato a fare il salvataggio e l'importazione, ma il problema persiste (oppure sono io il problema...), mi spiego meglio:
- ho fatto un file con BaB stile ZZPOPBAL tempo 76 scala A, primi accordi A - Amaj7 - Dmaj7 - E7;
- ho salvato un midi file
- ho importato il file con RB e mi trovo questa situazione:
- stile SWBALLAD, tempo 120, Scala C, primi accordi Bma7b5 - Bmaj - Dmay7 - Cdiesis7; il brano comunque suona con gli accordi giusti!!!!!
- provo a modificare la scala, ma mi appare questo messaggio:
- scegliere SI per trasporre in basso 9 semitoni
- scegliere SI per trasporre in basso 3 semitoni
c'è qualcosa che non mi torna (oppure come prima sono io che non "torno"....)
Intanto, lavoro e famiglia permettendo, continuo, con fatica a cercare un po' di confidenza con l'attrezzo.

Non sono un utilizzatore di RealBand, ma ho avuto modo di testare parecchio il programma per cercare il comprenderne il funzionamento, ho riscontrato la stessa situazione che descrivi tu.
Però: se pensi di utilizzare solo questi 2 software (BiaB e RealBand) non hai motivo di salvare il lavoro in Midifile al termine dell'arrangiamento eseguito in BiaB, puoi salvarlo nel formato proprietario del programma.
RealBand lo legge benissimo e lo interpreta esattamente come lo hai salvato senza errori di riconoscimento.
Prova e vedrai che funziona.

Ho riprovato la tua procedura e a me funziona perfettamente.
Io sto usando biab e rb 2010.5 in inglese su windows XP.
A questo punto non so cosa suggerirti: se mi viene qualche idea mi rifaccio vivo.

Il riconoscimento degli accordi di un file midi, per quanto valido, è soggetto a atanti parametri settabili nel programma e a tante variabili, per cui il risultato non è sempre perfetto, e servono degli aggiustamenti da fare in base al proprio orecchio, a quello che si vuole ottenere, ecc.ecc.
Un file midi, anche se generato in BIAB, una volta reimportato in BIAB (o RB) difficilmente darà gli stessi accordi di partenza, a meno che il brano non fosse proprio elementare e l'arrangiamento minimale.
E' un po' come voler insegnare a giocare a tennis a un ragazzo, e poi, dal suo gioco, cercare di ricavare le regole che gli sono state insegnate. Si riconosceranno, ma fino a un certo punto.
Mentre, peraltro, sono d'accordo con Seranto. Un file sorgente di BIAB sarà letto da RB esattamente con gli stessi accordi e lo stesso arrangiamento. Non c'è alcun bisogno di passare attraverso le fasi di "interpretazione " e "analisi".
Scusate se sono stato troppo tecnico, stavolta.

Vorrei aggiungere ancora qualcosa sull'argomento, intanto una precisazione sul fatto che aprire un midifile e importarlo sono operazioni estremamente simili ma non perfettamente identiche nei risultati; io consiglio l'importazione quando i midifile che vogliamo utilizzare non sono stati creati dallo stesso programma che stiamo utilizzando, non chiedetemi perchè, è complicato da spiegare.
Mi allaccio adesso a quanto scritto da Maurig per andare ancora più a fondo, il problema di Simcat è dovuto probabilmente ad una non corretta (forse solo per noi però!) identificazione di alcune note che potrebbero essere riconosciute come rivolti, o qualcosa di simile, e generare quindi un riconoscimento diverso della tonica dell'accordo, con successivo sconvolgimento del suo stesso nome nonostante invece la generazione sonora non risulti altrettanto "avariata"; questo appunto solo nel caso dell'importazione, quando cioè si attiva quasi sicuramente una funzione di analisi del software stesso. Con la semplice operazione Apri file ... ciò non accade e non si verifica l'errore (che in realtà non è un vero e proprio errore).
Ho verificato sul campo un metodo per aggirare il "pri pro quo" e potrebbe essere il seguente:
creare in RealBand un nuovo file vuoto;
aprire subito la finestra Accordi;
è possibile approfittare ed impostare già in questa videata Tonalità e tempo (se conosciuti);
posizionarsi col mouse su una qualsiasi misura e cliccare col tasto destro del mouse;
selezionare nel menu che appare la riga più bassa (Magico aiutante Accordi MIDI Personalizzato);
nella nuova finestra e nella parte più in basso subito prima dei pulsanti selezionare dopo la voce Modello: la riga Pop/Country e confermare;
NON scegliere di cliccare sul pulsante ROCK (nella parte alta a sinistra della finestra), limitarsi a quanto ho scritto fino qui.
Questa procedura va eseguita ogni volta prima di importare un midifile.
Mi spiace ma finora non sono riuscito a trovare un modo per fissare quest'impostazione di Default.
