All of a sudden RB refuses to recognize any changes that I make to a style in BIAB
When I change some of the midi tracks to real ones and load in RB it changes them all back. It's never done this before and I can't figure out why. I saved my BIAB song every way I can think of but it still defaults back everytime. It still recognizes any chord or patch changes I make but not Realtracks....wierd

Is RealBand looking in the correct folder for the RealTracks?

What if you made your changes then saved the changed style to a new name? Then exported that to RB.
What happens then?

I've done the updates, returned BIAB to factory settings, resaved song but nothing seems to work and funny thing is that it seemed to start after I did the update??? maybe it's time to call support cause this one has me baffled. No matter what I do when I open song in realband all the realtracks are gone

Maybe a reinstall of RB and be sure that the file locations are set up correctly. Do you get any error messages?

Try Alt-F2 and see what's checked on.

Did you freeze the tracks? Isn't that suppose to lock them in?

Try searching your complete system for that file name. That happened to me. I located the edited file in a win temp folder.

I reverted back to RB 2010, it's fine now. Evidently somethings goofy with 2010.5, according to support there's another patch coming

Shoot - I'm seeing this now too with 2010.5 (2)
All the realtracks come in as midi
I'm also seeing that I can drag realtracks from BAIB to RB just fine.
But when I drag midi - the tracks come in playing twice as fast.
I guess I'll jump back to RB 2010 and see if things return to normal.

I’m getting the same thing since the update 2010.5 (2) when opening a song file from Real Band if there is a midi track in the style I get this generated instead of the saved real track works fine in BIAB.

Hi, What is the date of the bbw2.exe file in your RealBand/data folder? If it is June or earlier, you need to install (or reinstall as the case may be) the Build 2 update patch. http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windows_realband.htm#2010_5_2If this does not solve the problem, I am not sure why that would be. Please send us a .MGU or .SGU file that has the problem to support@pgmusic.com, and refer to this forum thread.

The date of the bbw2.exe was last modified July 5th 2010 I tried reinstalling the patch no effect. Have sent .MGU file to support.

The 2b patch didn't work for me.
It still opens realtracks as midi.
And dragging in midi tracks has skew to them.
