I've read where some people have used dimension pro with BNB. Everytime I try to load it BNB says it doesn't recognize Dimension Pro. So is it that DP is simply non compatible with BNB or there is a way to connect and I don't know how to do it? any info, please

I've never had any luck with DP, I think because it's hooked into Sonar. Maybe someone has a work around.

When you go to load a plug-in, scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and select 'add VSTi plugin' and browse for the 'Dimension Pro.dll' file.
On my system the file is located in the Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro directory.

Johntru9j is right. For some reason, BIAB never "reads" the Cakewalk plugins, even though they may be in the BIAB VST list. You have to manually add them using the method he described.

It's much easier to use Dim Pro in RB. Just assign it there on a track by track basis and every thing gets saved in your seq file and reloaded when you open that file the next time.
To use it in BIAB, you need to load it as described above, and close those windows. Then open prefs in bb, click on channels, set your bass, piano, guitar and strings to midi channels 1 thru 4 in that order. Also set the bass octave to 0. Save and ok to close, then click on the big DXi button to open that window, and in Dim Pro click on options and set each element to respond to midi channels 1 thru 4. then turn all your elements on by clicking them at bottom. Then click the e-1 button on top left and under that button load a bass, click e-2 and load a piano (any keys sound is fine for now), e-3--guitar, and e-4 --strings. (Remember that's the slot under the e1 thru e4 buttons, not above them) Click on save bank and give it a name and save your assignments in a bank file.
Now find a style with midi except the drums is real drums, and you should have a little five piece combo jamming away. Like I said more trouble that it's worth lol.
