Hi all.Ive written a song and have selected a solo from the Soloist which comes in after the 2nd verse and also at the end of the middle 8. I quite like the solo after the 2nd verse but not after the M8 Is it possible to copy the first solo and replace the one after the M8 Cheers Frank

Well in RB you would simply copy, cut and paste the tracks to where you want them. Howver, in BIAB???

Hi Tributeman,
BIAB doesn't allow partial re-generation. As Dan has indicated, if you load your BIAB file into Realband, you can cut, copy, paste and even piecewise generate solos. Realband is exceptionally powerful in this regard.
Another alternative is to simply re-generate the Soloist (for the entire song) until you stumble onto something you like in all places of the song. When you get that melody that "works" for you, save it and the Soloist will "freeze" (which means that it will remain static and not change even if you re-generate the song).
NOTE: To get the re-generation of the Soloist to work, it will be necessary to "unfreeze" the Soloist track. If you have save your song with the Soloist in place, BIAB will automatically freeze the Soloist track.

Hi Rachel tried that but it doesnt seem to work.Copied from start 1 for 12 bars to start again at bar 37 but its a completely different solo.Unless Im making an error somewhere along the line I think the best action is transfer the song to RB and cut and paste.Cheers Frankie

If it is a RealTrack, RB is the answer. Midi should copy just fine either place.
