Plenty of songs have been written about those who display courage in the face of adversity. But hardly any in praise of those who give in without putting up a fight. So for all those who wave the white flag at the first sign of trouble, this one * is for you. Hope you enjoy it – any comments, as always, gratefully appreciated. Made with PTPA 11.0 (4), Audacity and B-i-a-b 7.0G for a hand with the composing. Hi Marc, I love it!!! It's really cleverly put together. I'm sitting here with a huge smile across my face at the moment. To my ears, this song is ideally suited to a traditional country setting; possibly even bluegrass. It's a terrific effort. The only thing that stood out to me every now and then was some sibilance - but that could be just me, too. Overall, this is a 10/10 in clever songwriting from me  Definitely a work to be proud of. Noel, that would be the "smiley face" eq in the mastering output I guess. If I redo I'll try and bring the high frequencies down a touch. Was recording with a pop filter, but some sibilance still creeps through. Thanks for the heads up on the new forum - great news !
I have, Bob, but my first thoughts were that the title you suggest (also the first I though of) gives the game away a little too early. BUt the jury is still out on that one - the title may well change.
