new at this...BB version 2010.5,MAC 10.4.11...I make band box rhythm tracks using combo real/midi,sounds fine, render trying AIFF,M4a,WAV,all fall apart,unplayable(instruments slow down,stop altogether,become unplayable)Go back to original Band in Box song and it is still perfect... trying to share my songs via audio cd's with my oot musician friends for yearly jams,so all can learn ahead of time...HELP thanks, reno

I haven't done what you are trying to do for quite awhile but as I recall it can be done.
Not sure if Mac 10.4.11 will have the correct software.
Here is the sequence as I remember.
1. create a song in Biab
2. drag the song to Garageband where you can edit.
3. send from GB to iTunes
4. burn a CD from iTunes
Again it has been sometime since I actually have done this but this should get you on your way.
I have done at a half dozen CD's with great results although the process is time consuming.

I'm really not an expert on BIAB, but that's mostly what I do with it. Record piano, guitar, bass and drum tracks on jazz standards or for my own compositions. As said above, I render them in AIFF audio format (from BIAB) in a folder of my choice, then I just put them in Itunes and burn the cd. And the resulting cd is always the same as in BIAB. I really don't know what can be your problem.
In the dialog box for the rendering, on the far left, is "full mix" checked ? I know that when that box wasn't checked, it didn't come out as I wanted.
