Hallo,
im englischsprachigen Forum gibt es eine Wunschliste für BiaB. Kann man so eine Liste nicht auch hier einführen? Warum sollen denn nur Leute die sich relativ gut in Englisch ausdrücken können, ihre Wünsche äußern dürfen?

dies ist ein sehr gute Idee!
Da ja durch dich und einige andere das Forum so richtig an "Leben" gewonnen hat, könnten wir (gemeinsam) noch viele weitere Dinge realisieren.
zB Übersetzung der englischen FAQ (eine wahre Fundgrube an Tipps&Tricks)
oder Hinterlegung von Screenshoots in Posts (ich könnte dafür den notwendigen Webspace zur Verfügung stellen)
UBBThreads bietet übrigens die Möglichkeit von Abstimmungen, wäre auch eine Idee...
Was meint Ihr dazu?

Hallo,
hier der Neue (Thorsten)... würde mich freuen, wenn wir einige Tipps und Tricks irgendwo hinterlegen könnten. Auch Anwendungen in Songs und Anwendungsbeispielen wäre ganz gut. Ich bin mir Sicher, dass BIAB viele Dinge bereit hält, die man vielleicht nie ausprobiert, weil man es einfach nicht zu Händeln weiß. Oder sie einfach zu kurz im Handbuch erklärt werden.
Martin ist doch wie wir alle wissen ein Experte im Englisch, vielleicht kann er vieles übersetzen.... Ernst möchte einen Webspace zu Verfügung stellen. Das wäre doch schonmal ein Anfang. Ich bin gerne bereit auch meinen Anteil dazu bei zutragen. ok. ich brauche noch ein wenig Zeit... aber bisher bin ich immer in die entsprechende Materie reingewachsen.
Mal wieder eine dumme Frage an dieser Stelle ( in der Hoffnung nicht erneut einen Streit vom Zaun zu brechen)
Ich will ein Jazz -Fakebook in BIAB eingeben. Können wir untereinander diese Songs nicht austauschen??? Es wird vielleicht schon so laufen, aber wie gesagt ich bin ganz neu hier.
Zum Thema zurück: ich habe gerade vor ein paar Tagen jemanden getroffen, der auch BIAB benutz. Nachdem er meine Songs gehört hat, sagte er: Sie hören sich viel Lebhafter an als seine. Nach kurzer Zeit hatten wir raus, dass er nicht wußte, dass man durch erneutes setzen eines Parts ein "Drum - Fill in" bekommt, der das ganze etwas besser gestaltet. Auf jeden Fall wenn man es richtig einsetzt. So wußte er auch nicht, dass man als Anhängsel an die Akkorde mit .. oder ...pd veschiedene Effekte einsetzen kann.
O.K. natürlich kann man das im Handbuch nachlesen, aber viele tun das nicht oder merken sich das alles nicht. Wenn sie nun gewisse Beispiele hören und gezielt gezeigt bekommen, wie das geht lernen sie gerne. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall. Und wie Andi es bereits in einem Beitrag sagt, hilft es nur das Programm zu verbreiten.... und viel mehr jedem die Chance zu geben vom anderen zu lernen. as Programm wird ständig verbessert und das kommt jedem zu gute. Also ich würde mich freuen, wenn es etwas als Hilfestellung im Deutschsprachigem geben würde.

Hallo,
zur Wunschliste kann ich nicht viel sagen, dazu kenne ich BiaB noch zu wenig. An Tips und Tricks bin ich sehr intressiert und Thostens Idee mit Austausch oder Vorstellung von Songs finde ich auch nicht schlecht wobei hier die Rechte geprüft werden sollten, um keine Schwierigkeiten zu bekommen.

BiaB Songs gibt es tonnenweise im Netz - da ich aber leider kein Jäger und Sammler bin, weiß ich nicht wo genau. Vielleicht einfach mal danach googeln ...
Zum Rechtlichen: so lange nur die Akkorde in den Songs sind können diese problemlos weitergegeben / getauscht werden. Urheberschutz genießen nur Melodien, keine Akkordfolgen ...
Ansonsten finde ich so eine kleine deutschsprachige Tipps und Tricks Ecke eine gute Idee ...

Ich denke, daß ich mit der Übersetzung der FAQ anfangen werde. Dort sind wirklich eine Menge an guten Tipps enthalten.
Wenn jemand zusätzliche Tipps einbringen will, kann man diese ja dazu geben.
Dies wäre schon mal ein Start zur weiteren Belebung des Forums.

da hast Du völlig Recht. Eine der ergiebigsten Quellen für BiaB-Songs dürfte wohl Allanah's Internetseite sein. Dort gibt's tausende Songs im BiaB und Midi Format. Die Seite ist in Englisch, die Navigation trotzdem Kinderleicht. http://www.members.shaw.ca/glitch/index.html

Hallo Ernst,
die Hinterlegung von Bildschirmfotos könnte sicher bei manchen Fragen helfen das Problem zu verdeutlichen und würde manch mühsame Formulierung ersparen. Gleiches gilt natürlich auch für die Antworten. Und Bildschirmfotos kann nun wirklich jeder (zumindest Windows Benutzer) spielend leicht und kostenfrei erstellen, z.B. mit IrfanView.

Hallo, ein Wunsch für BiaB: In den RealDrums Einstellungen kann man andere Drums für einen Song auswählen. Leider wird in der sich öffnenden Liste nicht angezeigt für welches Tempo die jeweiligen Drums geeignet sind. Man sucht sich also welche aus und klickt die an. Wenn BiaB dabei feststellt, dass die gewünschten Drums nicht zu dem aktuellen Tempo des Songs passen, gibt es eine entsprechende Meldung. Ich würde es begrüßen, wenn ich das für die jeweiligen Drums mögliche Tempo bereits in der Auswahlliste erkennen könnte. Etwa so wie in dem bearbeiteten Screenshot:  Grüße Andi

Hallo,
habe heute mal wieder schmerzlich einen ordentlichen, bedienerfreundlichen Mixer in BiaB vermisst.
Klar, oben den Part anwählen und Lautstärke bis Chorus über Zahlen regeln, ist im Grunde o.K. Ein grafischer Mixer für alle 128 Parts wäre auch etwas unübersichtlich.
Es wäre aber ein schöner Fotschritt für die nächste BiAB-Version, wenn man wenigstens ein eigenes Mixer-Fenster für die 9 Standard-Parts von "Band" bis "Thru" hätte - mit Schieberegler, Muting, usw. So was dürfte doch programmiertechnisch kein großer Auwand sein.

kann ich wie auf ein Keyboard Akkorde über MIDI auf Biab in einem Style mittels Keyboard wechseln?

Zum Thema Wunschliste fällt mir folgendes ein:
In BiaB sollte es eine Mixer-Einheit geben, in der zentral alle Spuren / Instrumente mit allen Einstellungswerten - MIdi-Kanal, Sound-Art, Volume, EQ, Effekte, Panorama, Soundwechsel etc. - wie bei einem echten Mixergerät dargestellt wird. Es könnten dabei sogar echte Schieberegler vorhanden sein. Wenn man etwas verändern möchte, braucht man nur den Mixer, nicht zig verschiedene Seiten, die sich in irgendeinem Menue verstecken, aufrufen.
Wäre doch schön. oder?

Hallo!
Mich interessiert bei BiaB auch die Erstellung von Melodien. Da fehlen noch einige Eingabemöglichkeiten z.B. die Eingabe von Vorzeichen und Taktarten wie bei anderen Notationsprogrammen üblich.

Ist es möglich, die Renderqualität der Audiospuren so gut wie in Realband hinzubekommen? Habe zur Zeit das Problem, daß BIAB spurgebundene Shots etc. unterstützt, aber die erstellten Tracks klingen wesentlich farbloser als in Realband, das aber leider keine Pausen, Shots etc. unterstützt, bei denen man Spuren ausnehmen kann.
(Beispiel: alle Instrumente haben Pause, aber Drums spielen weiter)

Vielen Dank an das PGMusic-Team! BIAB rendert zwar noch immer in der gleichen Qualität, aber RealBand unterstützt nun seit dem letzten Patch auf Version 2008.5 (4) das Ausnehmen von Spuren bei Pausen, Shots, ... Problem ist also gelöst.
