Hi Marty,
I really enjoyed listening to this song. Songs in AABA form always appeal to me. I find this song form really useful at capturing a moment in time. While I was listening it was very easy for me to see your "moment in time" as part of a conversation between husband and wife. It worked for me. As with all your songs that I have heard, this one shines with the polish of professionalism. You have a terrific voice for this genre.

Hello Noel,
I also like the AABA structures. I thought a "positive" message was the way to go in this song. Seems like so many tunes, sing of failed love or misery. This reflects of the great relationship my wife and I have had for 30 years. However, sometimes when I write, it doesn't always end up with the original thought I start with. I just go with the flow....LOL!

Marty, you are one fantastic country singer! I really like your music. Your vox is top shelf and you do a fantastic job on your mixes. All of your songs are air play ready IMHO.

I like this song. You've captured that written "from the heart" feel with it. The lyrics are conversational and the tune is nice. The vox makes me believe it. Your production is right on. At first listen I thought maybe a few words could've been smoother but after listening a couple more times I changed my mind. grin.

I agree with you. It seems like sometimes I would force the words. I was trying to get that G. Jones feel in the song. But as you know, only George can do George. LOL! I may re-cut the vocals later and see If it flows a little better.
