Two weekends ago I went to my 45th high school class reunion.
It was great fun and I enjoyed seeing all the old folks. Ha!

I wish I had gotten to go to all my class reunions, but no one would tell me where it was being held.

I don't think that would be Rharv's fault, though.

I've missed 30 class reunions now..
pretty sure it's intentional, just not sure if by me or not.

It's funny how people can call and say "You missed the class reunion, it was a blast" ... the day after.
But not a peep beforehand.
My best friend (from even before high school) once said to me "Nobody told you?! Do they have your number?"

I just stared at him with a confused look, thinking 'uh, you do'.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

the reason conspiracy theory continues to exist is the abundance of evidence.

So you think they were *all* in on it?? Or just more than one?

I wouldn't go to any party that would invite me as a guest anyway.
(thanks Groucho)

<squinty-eyed suspicious mode ON>

Let's just say I've always wondered why reunions are preceded by multiple planning sessions. What do you suppose they're planning? How much planning does it take to sit around and talk for 4 hours?

And why are the people at the planning sessions the same ones who were in the exclusive cliques?

Why is it that the people who weren't in the cliques often don't hear about the reunion?

I graduated in 1971. Since then, I have never been notified of one reunion, in spite of the fact that my current address is listed in my alma mater's alumnus database, and has been for years.

My wife was notified once, the year one of her high school friends organized the reunion... But never again after that.

I rest my case

I have a postcard sitting on my desk right now, from my high school wanting to add me to their database. Third request I have received (I haven't responded to any of them just to be safe). So I *know* they know where I am.
I think it's an inside joke to somebody

The reason that people go to class reunions?
The women go to see who has put on the most weight, and the men go to see who has lost the most hair.

If that's true, then facebook has already made reunions obsolete

just a quick reference to qualify this thread as a "music-related post"

All through high school I played in a number of locally well-known bands. With that being my high school reputation, I even contacted the reunion committee and offered to play a set of songs that were popular the year we graduated, but they never even....

....ohhhhhhh <smacking forehead>

Never mind.

It all makes sense now
