The song Ive written is in the key of g and I wanted to go from g to a at a point in my song which would have a solo playing for about 12 bars and then come back to the original key of g.But I notice that the backing of the rythm guitar alters from a nice flowing rythm to what I can only describe as a "chugging" on the beat rythm which just doesnt fit the track and is quite irritating..anyone had this problem before.Thanks Frankie

Are you using version 2010.5 with the latest build?
IF this is a Real Track rhythm guitar part, which one?
Have you applied the July Real Track patches?
The way Real Tracks are done, as I understand it, is to make audio files in certain keys but not every key; when another key is needed, they take the part closest to that key and pitch-shift it a half or whole step as needed. Perhaps you are going from one Real Track to a different recording and there is either different playing or a bug on the second track (the one in A). We won't know unless you can give us the details. Can you post the song somewhere for us to download and test?

Hey Matt Sorry for not replying sooner Ive only just come on the PC had to go off somewhere quick.
Ive got version 2010 ultraplus.The guitar is the 411 train picking ev 130.Im pretty sure Ive applied all the patches but will check it out.It doesnt go off key when I go from a g to a but the rhythm alters and it just doesnt flow as good as it does in G.Havent worked it out yet to upload my music I must get around to it soon as Ive started writing again and it would be good to here constructive comments from you guys.Cheers Frankie

Hi Again Matt,Ive just solo'd the 411 guitar part and found that as you go along in the song it also alters the rhythm to that on beat effect but for just a few seconds.Maybe the answer is to alter it when I transfer it to RB.Frankie

OK. If you still think the guitar part in one key is not playing the same rhythm that you get in another key, you could send an email to Support and ask about it. Once in awhile, people have found errors in individual Real Tracks, and they get fixed right away.
