Hello all,
I have BIAB, Realband 2009 and PT12 I can't find the Drum Kit window in Realband or PT12. I found it in BIAB but it doesn't play Kick or Snare.
Is the Drum Kit Window in PT12 or RealBand 2009?
I'm trying to figure out a way to make some drum patterns.
I'm using XP and VSC-dxi.

Drum grid is easy way to make patterns..
The drum kit is tucked away inside the 'more buttons' bank beside the audio edit window here, look for small downward arrow.
This plugin was created long ago, so don't expect magic; you only get one velocity from a qwerty keyboard or mouse.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I found the Drum Kit Window in all my programs.
Last night I found it in BIAB and used the mouse and keyboard and I drum made sounds.
Today no sounds in any programs using the Drum Kit Window. When I hit each drum I can see them move but no sound. I wonder why it worked in BIAB last night.
I just had to do a whole format and install a week ago and I forgot all my old settings. I should have documented them.
Also, I'm using MME not ASIO. I don't know if ASIO-MME has to do with MIDI. I have a SB X-FI card. I tried ASIO a long time ago and I had some problems recording in BIAB. Switched to MME and all was well with everything.
Maybe I should try ASIO again.

If things are working stay away from ASIO. At least that's my advice. Unless you have keyboard / recording /latency issues you cannot resolve. It's just a layer of misery. (My words, not to be construed with policy).

Hi John,
Thanks, I remember a couple of years ago going crazy trying to get ASIO to work. I never did.
I guess I have to save up for a cheap MIDI keyboard for MIDI input. I suppose most USB keyboards will work. I priced MIDI input/controller KBs and I can't afford them.
I just want to do very simple MIDI input for a few melody lines and making drum patterns.
I was dreading the ASIO thing. I remember it was a nightmare.
