To date, there are no 3/4 Electric Bass RTs. But someone sure has a thing for Acoustics over at PG.  I need a 3/4 electric midi bass generated for a country song until such time as PG gives some 3/4 Electric RTs. Is there a way without "importing" from another style? creating a hybrid? Oh yeh the style I'm using is_FSCWalZ. I thought I might find a "generate midi bass part" by right clicking on the Bass (green) button. Is there such a monster? Do you know where it's buried? Apologies for the sarcasm. In short - I need to create a 3/4 Fretless electric bass track - ASAP . . . .as SIMPLY as possible. Is there a 4/4 electric RT that will adapt. Break time I guess while the knowledge rolls in.  Cheers - Ian

Ian, I've just bit the bullet with RealTracks and it seems to work fine taking a 4/4 style and loading it ......if I remember...

Glad to see you haven't lost any or your earlier sarcasm, John. I hate explaining this hearing issue but I can't always hear the bassline or the timing clearly to know just how accurate it is.  It's like going to the User's (mimicking sucking on a straw) Forum (unique name don't you think????) and saying "turn the bass down" and the producer comes back and says "there's none in it" you wanker.  . Got the picture? How's your home "hearing" system evolving, John.

Hey Ian. My bass is fine. They gave me the kid's diagram of what sounds are where and I took in the frequencies of each key on the piano with the one's at the top I can't tell apart. At the moment that's the top 15 notes, and the hearing aids can't fix those at all, they are too far gone.
So I can't hear f, k, th and hard c's. I figured out if I hear u oo and the look is 'menacing' the first word might start with f and the last one has ff's in it too. YIKES.
I started out I couldn't hear women at all, it was gibberish. With the hearing aids it's better but not great. I can hear them somewhat but don't understand them at all. But when I had good hearing I couldn't understand them.
What you need to shop for is a cross over and a bass bin. I have a bass bin cabinet that's about the right height for a stool. You sit on it and with the cross over you jack the bass and you shake with the beat man.
It would be a help for the hearing impaired if the interface was a bit flashier. What about putting the metronome on screen so it flashes 1 2 3?
The wife is so excited, the docs gave me a 3 month clearance - good to go so she convinced me to get tickets to England for the 20th of April, going to England, Scotland (Islay) maybe Ireland, and leaving to come home a month later out of Paris. No decision as to how many days where but should get ticket confirmation in the morning.
BTW the downside to the bass bin idea is if you are on an upper floor in an apartment building and you keep that music going until 2 a.m. The cops show up. Not like in that Cops show from the US though. Just take them out for a coffee and doughnut.
