Hallo zusammen, vieleicht hat ja einer einen Rat für mich. Ich spiele mit einem Ewi Usb in Biab (2005) auf die Melodiespur. Ich sehe auch die Noten die ich spiele (live und in den Noten), höre sie aber weder beim aufnehmen noch beim späteren abspielen (die anderen schon vorhandenen Spuren höre ich). ich habe einen Windows 7 (32 bit) Pc mit einem Edirol UA 25 Audio Interface. Ich habe als Midi in (Klappt ja auch) den Ewi Usb angegeben, als Midi out habe ich alle Möglichkeiten (Midi Mapper, Ua 25, Wavetable etc) durchprobiert. Channel 1 eingestellt und Programm 67 (ten-sax) gewählt. Was habe ich vergessen, was hilft.

Inzwischen hat es unzählige Verbesserungen und Neuerungen bei Band-in-a-Box gegeben. Es wäre keine Schlechte Idee, die schon etwas veraltete Version 2005 mit einer aktuelle Version zu ersetzen. Dies macht auch die Nachvollziehbarkeit leichter.

Hallo Friedus, verwendest Du ggf. einen DXi-Synth wie Forte oder VSC Roland für die Ausgabe? Wenn ja, muss bei Midi-Treibereinstellungen das Häkchen bei "Midi-Thru zu Midi-Treiber" abgewählt sein. Ich weiß jetzt aber gerade nicht, ob das in BIAB 2005 schon implementiert war. Versuche auch mal zwischen MME- und ASIO-Treiber zu wechseln. Möglicherweise gibt es aber auch Inkompatibilitäten von BIAB 2005 mit Windows 7. Seit Vista hat gab es bei Windows viele Änderungen im Audiobereich, gerade was die Midi-Funktionalität angeht. Unter XP konnte man z.B. noch die Midiausgabe in der Windows-Systemeinstellungen wählen, das hat BIAB dann übernommen. Bei WIN7 fehlt das. BIAB 2005 könnte diese Einstellungen aber noch erwarten. Die eingespielten Noten sind offenbar im Notationsfenster erkennbar. Eine nähere Überprüfung der aufgenommenen Noten ist im Midi Monitor sowie auch im Event List Edit Fenster möglich. Hier einmal querchecken, ob die aufgenommenen Noten mit vernünftigen Parametern bei 'velocity' und 'duration' gespeichert wurden. Bei 'velocity' "0" oder 'duration' "0" sieht man zwar Noten im Notationsfenster, aber man hört sie nicht, da sie effektiv nicht gespielt werden. Wenn man die Noten eigentlich hören müsste, sollten Mixereinstellungen quergecheckt werden. Wenn die Lautstärke einer Spur auf Null steht, hört man auch nichts. Experimentieren ist hier angesagt.

Hallo Martin,
guter Tip. Es liegt wohl tatsächlich an der Velocity. Im roll editor kann ich nach eingezeichneter Linie die Noten hören, aber wie stelle ich sie dauerhaft ein. Bekomme irgenwie keinen Mixer gestartet. Gruß Friedus

Mittels Midi Monitor testen, wie die Daten aus dem Wind Controller bei BiaB ankommen. Wenn hier die Velocities vernünftig erscheinen, in der Spur bei nachträglicher Betrachtung aber als Zero gelistet sind, liegt das Problem bei BiaB. Wenn aber hier bereits Velocity "0" auftritt, liegt das Problem beim Ewi Usb -> Manual ausgraben und die Einstellungen überprüfen. Oft hilft auch eine Rücksetzung auf Werkseinstellungen - beim Ewi wie auch bei BiaB ...
