Hi there everyone I am as new as can be to Band in a Box so I need things spelled out in full please. I want to put a backing track to Turkey in the Straw - in Bluegrass. I have the Bluegrass med temp realtracks. It is in G and in bar 2 has a chord change on the third beat to a D. Bar 3 is G, bar four is G G D G. I have tried various things but they all sound dreadfull This is just part A of the tune Part B is even more complicated  Thank you in advance for your help

Since the chords window restricts chord changes to two per measure, getting that last four chord measure will be the tricky part.
New Realtracks offer a half and double speed option. I mention this because what I would attempt is to set the tempo to twice what it should be (meaning two bars go by for every one now).
That way your chord changes will take place over more measures, allowing the changes to work as desired.
At twice tempo the bar chords would be -
G | G | G | D | G | G | G | D G |
Now the tricky part-
Using the realtracks at half and double speed; I haven't tested that much so I can't offer a lot of advice on that. It *should* be possible though.

Every bar has two cells; each cell can hold two beats, with chords separated by commas.
In Bar 1, cell 1 enter a G (for beats 1, 2, 3, 4 of the 1st bar, beats 1, 2 of 2nd bar)
In Bar 2, cell 2 enter a D (for beats 3, 4 of 2nd bar)
In Bar 3, cell 1 enter a G (for beats 1, 2 of 3rd bar)
In Bar 3, cell 2 enter D,G (for D on beat 3 and G on beat 4)
BIAB will keep playing the same chord until it sees a change, so in Bar 3 the G in cell 1 carries on until the third beat.
I hope that made sense.
