I've been playing around with getting the RT acoustic bass and piano on a bossa to swing for songs like A Night In Tunisia. I load the -BSTSW style, which only gives you real drums (I change them too) at the start. Then I add RT acoustic Bass, RT Piano, a Different RT drum (see setting below) and it sounds very good. The idea is that the acoustic bass, while playing a swing style in the bossa patterns, is mostly playing on 1 and 3 in the part A markers, so it sounds OK there, but really cooks on the part B markers with the walking swing. This lets you solo to a good swing section on the middle choruses. The song info below shows what I did (might not sound good in all cases, but Night In Tunisia never sounded better!)
****** Song Summary ************* Title: A Night in Tunisia File:A Night In Tunisia.SGU Key=Dm , Tempo 140, Length (m:s)=3:25 8 bar intro, 32 bar chorus, from bar 9 to bar 40. Repeat x3 choruses, tag ending, after bar 40 No Melody No Soloist track. Song is saved with Volume, Pan, Reverb, Chorus, Bank0, Soloist is saved with the song : Bebop Piano (2) Style is -BSTSW^1.STY (BossaThenSwing) Style MIDI Instruments are : Nylon String Guitar (25), RealTracks in song: ~443:Bass, Acoustic, Jazz Sw 140 RealTracks in song: ~449:Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm Jazz Sw 140 RealDrums in Style: BossaThenSwing^1-Sticks *******************

Thanks for posting your "song summary". I just finished using your list to do my own "Tunisia" It was fun and I found a drum style that I had not used before. Personally I think this forum needs more sharing like this.

There is some new multistyles, such as BOS2SWG that do this. A/B is Bossa, C/D is Swing. The only thing lacking is the BossaThenSwing RDs which have nice fills when changing sections. The styles can be modified to include this though.

The problem with the new bos2swg is that you can't solo to swing on middle choruses w/o rearranging the song and making it a lot longer, because the "vary middle choruses" only plays part b. They should make it so you can tell the song style to select d for the variable middle choruses. Also if you change the real drum style to "stick" it doesn't change c or d.
