I'm going through printing out another copy of my book. Most of it was printed with the older windows version of band-in-a-box, and I can see the lead-in bar, the repeat signs, and the coda (tag). For some reason with the Mac version I can't print it this way. I can expand all the repeats and then print the full thing. Or I can print the first chorus, or I can print the last chorus (but that doesn't seem to be working now either, well it's not showing the tagged ending if I print the last chorus). I can't get it to print it like I did with Windows, with the intro, then the repeated section with repeat signs around it, then the coda, with a coda bug where you jump to the coda the last time.
Am I clueless? Or does the Mac version not have this functionality. I've been struggling with this for years now, maybe I'm just missing something.

I also noticed that it's not using the jazz font. And I used to be able to print 6 bars per line, the mac version seems to be stuck with 4 bars per line.

There is no way at the moment. When i need to print the sheet music from biab i use to temporarily cut all repetition parts from the arrangment, print the sheet music and then add the repeat, intro and coda signs with a pencil The other way is to export a midi file with only the melody and import it to Logic for an accurate editing. But becomes a bit hassle having to write all chord symbols...

Well that sucks. I fail to understand why PGMusic can't implement something so simple, that's been in the Windows version for years.

Thanks for the ideas, I also have Logic. I import all the midi from BIAB into logic when I want to fine tune the arrangement. The main problem with Logic as a scoring tool is that it doesn't honour any repeat signs when it's playing back! And also, as you mention, you have to hand-enter the chords (although if I had a BIAB style that just played whole-note chords in the string section, Logic could analyze that to get the progression approximately right.)

Also you can't print 6 bars per line, only 4 This sucks. Maybe it's time to look at alternatives to BIAB but I've been using it for 20 years since it was first introduced for the Atari ST. I don't remember whether that first version for the Atari would print full-form leadsheets or not.
