Hello All,
Back when Sandra and others were requesting the above styles, my exposure to that unique sound was very limited; however, since the upgrade, they've become very practical. One of the styles, _GJBALFS, includes 2 acoustic rhythm guitars-- #1210 assigned to the piano part, and #1209 assigned to the guitar part.
#1210 usually plays in a lower register than #1209. The default volume of both is of course 90. But in the real world, would both guitars be mixed at about the same volume levels?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yep, when you listen to Gypsy songs, they are recorded and mixed very simple. The sounds just come in as in the live gig. There is no volume poti on a gypsy guitar, therefor the only way to handle volume differences is the dynamic of ones playing. Due to that fact the rhythm guitars are usually kinda loud - maybe that`s why the lead sound is so agressivly played with very thick picks (but thats only a guess) - so it can be heard.
To answer you question, if you have two rhythm guitars, usually both have the same volume.

There are already Gypsy Ballad Realtracks. Recorded at tempo 110.
Whats missing are Gypsy Waltzes and the desperately needed Gypsy Bossas.

I've indeed been using the Gypsy Ballad RTs and just didn't know it. So I went back to the Stylepicker, and for the first time, I noticed the Gypsy Jazz Fast styles!
Shortly before the political crisis in Yugoslavia, I had the opportunity to play at some of the seaside resorts. Two of the other musicians were from Austria- one from Vienna and one from Knittelfeld near Graz. I told the Viennese fellow that he spoke very good English and that his pronunciation was better than most native-born German speakers. He credited the Viennese dialect and gave me a crash course in Weanarisch.
